For some reason, I'm really loving a good 801 atomizer on my epipemod.

Hey all ... got another question ....

I saw a video on the epipemods site about replacing a fuse, etc, and just got my new pipe today. I was looking around inside, and see a VapeSafe maybe, at the bottom, but no fuse.
Does this model have that little fuse thing? If not, cool, because I wasn't sure I'd be able to replace it.

Ok, version 1 used a hot spring under the button. Version 2 changed to a magnet button and used the fuses that you are talking about. Since then he has released a new version called Steam Pipes. That is what you have. It has a resetable Vapesafe 2 in it. So if the circuit trips over a short it will automatically reset itself. Ive not had the need to reset it so not sure exactly how it works. Maybe just remove the battery and put it back in or maybe you just do nothing. But yeah, to the original point, you have no need to worry about a fuse. I wish my v2 models were the Steampipe ones for sure.

Matt -
Are you out of regular (non-LR) ego mega type b atomizers? Shop seems to have only LR ones, or regular type a.
PJ

I have pretty much stopped buying regular resistance mega B atties since almost a year ago.
they just don't move.

After the phoenix came out I decided to stop buying mega B's all together.
You can easily remove the top portion (essentially a metal mega b to 510 adapter) and use a mega stem.
Not to mention it's rebuildable! you can set it to any ohm you like and use it over and over.
Oh and the price of the Phoenix also kills the mega B. (virtually the same)

hi Matt,

thanks for the repair of my pipe and a new booster

it looks like you put in a re-settable vapesafe2, or something similar, whatever it is, it wasn't there before

and another ring on top of the existing ring, for a better button connection I asume

and another booster which works far better than the first one

I think all of these things contributed to my non-firing issues

all is well now and I'm enjoying my pipe more than ever

thanks to Katie for the informative email updates

best regards,

bbb
