Hi Matt, I returned a dublin wizard pipe a couple month ago as it stopped working, presumably because of an over-tightening problem. You've kindly fixed it and I have been happy with my pipe ever since...It stopped working again.

Any chance you could tell me what you did to fix the pipe?

I ripped out the guts and rewired the whole thing.
It sounds like you may have a bad atty or carto that is causing intermittent shorts in the pipe.
Does the switch seem to not work sometimes?

anyway you"ll need to send it back for repair again, it's not really a DIY project.

Well, the pipe I got my friend for Christmas looks to be delivered to THE WRONG CITY TOTALLY!

USPS hates me, they do! I am not sure if I can get this figured out. I had the package insured, but how could they deliver to a totally different zip code? It's not even close.

GAW! I am soo PO'd ..... and I don't mean Post Office'd .....

I hope that wasn't our bad... We'll get it straightened out for you if the post can't.

No Matt ... I got the pipe and goodies from you guys, then put it in a Priority thing with some See's candy, a couple Cherry Vapes holiday tips (the root beer one too) and sent it off for Xmas. It was a USPS computer generated Priority Insured label and all.
I am not sure how it could have gotten so screwed up. :(

It's rare but occasionally USPS has a major brain fart. I have had quite a few packages get delayed, But we've only ever completely lost 1 package in over 2 years. Hopefully it'll get where it needs to go. Please let me know if it doesn't.

Anyone use the Jazz Carto tank? Does the mouthpiece screw in to the tank? Is it secure? Does it leak in your pocket or laying down? How's the vape?

Not a carto tank guy personally. They have their own tricks.
The mouth piece pops in with an o ring like a DCT.
They are fairly secure, just don't grab you pipe out of your pocket by the tank or woooosh! carto slides out and your jacket/ pants smell like Long Bottom Leaf for a few washes :)

Here's a vid on how they work->

oh and about the leaking...
They don't leak while lying down, however they do sometimes leak directly after a fill... just like any carto tank.
It's a balance that must be achieved in liquid viscosity and carto feed holes. Thin liquid less holes. thick, more.
The really nice feature (helps to avoid leaks after filling) is the side port fill hole. If you use that to fill you'll be less likely to get an initial leak.

Matt, what material are the Damascus ones? Is it the stuff made by Damasteel or some other material? Sorry if thats already covered here, I just came across a question on the subject and couldn´t remember for sure.

Not exactly sure to be honest.
I just know it's called Damascus and m3. Oh yeah and it's damned expensive!
