So I'm getting better at this waxing pipes thing. I discovered, its much better to apply the wax with a soft cloth rather than using your finger. Applying with your finger creates tiny ridges and unevenness in the wax even after buffing with a soft cloth.

What I'm still unsure about is if after I've used a polished pipe for a few days and the wax has started to wear off, can I apply more wax at this point, or is it better to wait until all the wax is worn off before applying more? Also, if I can apply more wax over the existing wax, should I somehow clean the pipe to remove any oils that might've accumulated from the pipe being in my hand? Or can I just start applying more wax?

Matt, have you ever thought about making a How To maintain and wax your pipe video? I'm really new to the whole wood maintenance thing.

Both waxes are conditioner & wax in 1, so unless the pipe is extremely dirty the wax should be enough to clean, condition and polish the pipe. It is best to apply thin coats to the pipe, let it dry for about 1-5 minutes, then buff with the chamois. Several coats can be applied in 1 evening. sometimes I'll be watching a movie and apply up to 6 coats. Just be sure to apply thin even coats each time. I do want to do a video, and we are getting some good feedback to answer and address in the video.

Behind you
I'm alternating my two pipes daily - the ergonomics, the performance, the smell of the wood as it slightly warms up..

I'm honestly staying away from the thread a bit trying not to splurge on a few more pipes until I get other parts of life in order. I'm such a woman. ;-)

Thank you so much Matt. So very very much. -Magnus

I just got the Briar blocks in today and WOW!
it looks like only about 3 are small enough for cigars but I also dug up some coolibah, claro walnut, and a couple other woods that will take on the cigar character nicely.
The rest of the Briar is very impressive with some super large blocks that will make very nice 18500 jumbo pipes.

I am also re-releasing an old favorite in a slightly new format.
I won't say any more and leave you all in suspense for the pictures of this upcoming weekends party.
I will have a couple with me at our Customer Appreciation Party at Dudley's in New York this Friday. If any one is interested in attending the info is posted on our FaceBook page. I will be bringing quite a few giveaways, including some nice pipes. no sales, just giveaways and fun :)
Thanks to all of our great customers wish there was some way I could see you all there.
