I will jump in with a specific question here. I slapped a generic carto tank on Jerome. Not even sure what kind if carto I used. I am getting significantly less vape off this than I did from the smok EDCC and of course less flavor. The sheer amount of vape I am getting is not enough and ain't cutting it at all. What is the recommended ohms and brand of carto for maximum vape with a carto tank and EPM?

Do you know the ohms on the carto you are using?

Given the pipes are strictly mechanical, the highest voltage you are gonna get is ~4.2V and thats just in the beginning. It slowly goes down as the battery drains, so anything higher then 2ohms is basically gonna suck. All of my RBAs have from 1.7 to 2 ohm coils. You might wanna look into getting an eGo ring to complete the look of your pipe once you get a tank. If you ever have any questions, no matter how dumb you might think it is, just ask. We've all been new to this at one point.

yes... less ohms more vapor.... you dont wanna go any less than 1.5 on any mod using an 18350 batt..... its just too much for that little battery to handle.

Also the looser draw most likely is causing less vapor too

Ok thank you. Yeah, I have no idea how to tighten the draw. I have a standard ego cone, a generic 15" OD carto tank, the 2.0 carto, and I am getting a loose draw and weak vape

im gonna gather its the cartos fault..... also the emdcc that you are using has dual coils so its gonna be a warmer vape with less ohms...... id try to pick up a few 1.8 ohm and go from there!

Curses! And I just ordered 10 more of these cartos from EPM on Friday. Shoot. Oh we'll, hopefully they work better with the jazz tank, because the vape I am getting with these on the generic tank really sucks and I am not enjoying at all :(

Yikes! If not you can always get rid of em in the classies! or trade for a lower resistance!

For me, and I have not data to back it up, but Ive found a dual coil 2ohm carto is harder to drive than a single coil 2ohm. Something about dual coils that seems to suck the power. I dont know, but that has been my experience with the dual coil cartos Ive tried out. I've tended to only get single coil cartos since.

In my personal experience I have not found any dual coil carto that performs as well as a single coil, especially on a fixed voltage device. I use LR single coils with my pipes including the Mega eGo cartos...they are 1.7 ohms.

So I have found 1.5 and 1.7 LR cartos. Looks like I would need to punch them. One hole or two? Anything else I need to know?
