I like how this one looks just the way it is in the pic. Sitting outside in the porchswing, sipping a cocktail, and puffing up a storm.

Very nice, what kind of tank is that in there? Been contemplating an epipe mod. Will be my first pipe :)

That is just a generic 19 mm OD carto tank I got for my starter mod at a local B&M months ago. Nowhere near the quality of many Pyrex tanks on the market. However, it fits perfect with the bell cone ego thread cover with is also 19mm. There are many very affordable Pyrex tanks out there... Just always be sure you ask up front what the OD (outside diameter) is.

I have a Sony NEX5 I use for product photos. By far the best camera I've ever had(not saying much). I can't say how much the flip screen has come in handy. Picture quality is wonderful for the price range. I do t know about the newer version but I wouldn't take anything for mine. Except a really nice freehand possibly. JK

I got the Tatroe Tank ordered. Its actually gonna be here Monday if all goes as planned with the PO. Thanks to everyone who posted that. I kinda dig my evod. Problem is I dont have a protank yet lol. They were out of stock to add the base and heads on the site which is kinda a bummer. Cant wait for that thing, looks cool. Even got a BDS60 to put on it. I guess now I need a new pipe :p

Haha I ordered mine as well to go with my bds60 :)

I'm actually looking at getting a new camera for both Iceland, and more importantly pipe photos.
I'm looking at these two-
Sony nexf3
Canon eos rebel

Any thoughts? I'm not very educated on the subject...

I dont know much either unfortunately. I have a Rebel T3i. Its a low end Canon but probably one of the nicer Rebels. I think there is a 43i now or beyond lol. They are big and bulky compared to the Sony Nexf3.

In hopes of not embarrassing myself I think we should wait for our resident photographer Dusty to help on that one. I know when you go to a camera forum and ask you will be grilled with a million questions as to exactly what you are planning on shooting and in what type of conditions.

I can tell you this, if you get one of the big cameras you MUST get a Rapid Strap for it. It was a total game changer for me and allows me to carry my camera with me everywhere. Before that strap I really had to think about when and where I would take it. I got the Sport model Rapid Strap. Dont think you will need that for the Sony but maybe.

This wood is crazy. What is that? Love looking through these old photos. You made tons of cool pipes. It would be nice if there was a way to archive these on you're website somehow but I know that would take up too much space. But if I were to buy one off the classifieds and wanted to know when it was made and type of wood it's made of. I realize this is like asking you to move Mt. Everest. Just a thought I had while checking out all the old pipes.

Jahf-

I made the tips for the brass atties a snug fit because I figured it would be better to have them snug than loose. My o-ring is rather worn after a couple months of use, but it seals well and still fits snug.
I'd recommend a 5 drip max in these guys. They unfortunately don't quite have the capacity of the eternity or eBaron.

Regarding Annunaki ... they may not have the capacity (though after an hour on a dry wick 12 drops hasn't leaked any) ... but

WOW.

This has BY FAR the best flavor of any atomizer I've got. Irie Nights (subtle brown sugar and rum flavors), which is usually understated even on a high end dripper or atomized, absolutely blooms on this brass beauty.

I am sure I could mimic it on something like a Nimbus ... but I have this ... and this fits on my pipe. I'm in doggone love.

And I can just leave the O-ring off and it works fine. So I think a tiny amount of work on the O-ring trench will do all I need.

Seriously. I've got Game of Thrones on pause just to type this. Annunaki tastes [expletive] amazing with subtle flavors. Going to compare/contrast with the Vision by swapping Irie in it and LBL in the Annunaki but dang, I'm happy. I just need to find some Ego A drip tips that I don't hate for when I put this on my pocket device.

Regarding cameras ... must be something in the personality that loves ePipes because I too have a Sony NEX. Mine is the NEX-7. I wouldn't necessarily recommend stepping up that high in the line (NEX-7 is their most expensive version, but all use the same lenses).

However if you can step up a bit, look at the NEX-6 as it is the newest in the line and has some capabilities that the others don't (including the NEX-7) like the ability to use WiFi if I recall correctly.
