The authentic comes with a washer for this purpose. I have seen where others have used an o-ring to accomplish the same thing.

I took the adjustable 510 pin from the cheapo $15 version on FT and put it in the silver box version (much better version) now it's great

Good news! My Erl Nano is an early Christmas present. It showed up at ISC Chicago, and then no updates until it got to my town this morning.

Thanks to that info ronda. I have one showing Chicago ISC since 12/20 and no subsequent moment. Another in San Francisco since 12/17 that might arrive tomorrow. And a third still showing "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". Funny as first two shipments processed sort in Shenzhen, China within one minute of each other -- and the third a day later. The first contains my Erl (Chicago ISC), and the third (with location unknown), has my mini-Erl. Trying not to get my hopes up for a Christmas vape...
Mine sat at Chicago ISC since Dec 19, and then this morning, *pow*, skipped the closest sort facility and hub altogether.
Okay... WARM vapor. Had to turn the Provari down a few notches from where I was using it on an Orchid. First wick job was a leaking mess, but round two has it so far. 2 ohm coil(I only have 30ga wire atm), 4.5v. Vapor is pretty great, and flavor is great too. I removed the wick ring, and now that it's not leaking I removed the AFC ring too. Just light enough to lung hit.
Other than that... Threads look good. The O-Rings are barely enough. I replaced them with the black o-rings that came with the IBTanked glass. So far, I like it.
EDIT: Another thing I just realized... This thing doesn't seem any louder than the Orchid I have. That is, not really loud at all. Unless I just suck a lot lighter than nearly everyone else...

My FT Nano also came today. Nothing but great things to say about it. Build quality is great, no issues I have found.
Mine isnt silent though, mine still sounds like an afterburner.
One thing I did notice though...first thing I did was remove the AFC like usual, the airflow on my FT Nano is SUPER airy, like, almost Lemo airy. Definitely more Airy than the Orchid. Curious if anyone else who got theirs noticed this.

Quiet might be subjective thing... My last noisy atomizer was a Kayfun clone that liked to ****ing WHISTLE. This one is just the sound of air moving. Doesn't bother me at all.
Mine's not subohm RDA airy, but it is a bit lighter than an Orchid for sure.
Yeah, my SquapeRs whistle sometimes. And its a super high pitch that is absolutely horrible. The authentic does it, too, but not as often as the clone.
The 2 times a year to be cautious from China are Xmas and Chinese New Year. Xmas is a mare and I heard reports that this year's mail volumes have hit an all time high (to be expected given western purchasing from Asia) they must be pushing alot of mail the system just crawls to a snail pace.
Some stats I put together for myself from FT Chinapost, epacket and SGP. October average delivery time 7 days some took 5 days. November 17 days, quickest 14 days, longest 28 days. So by my reckoning December will be 28 - 42 days.
My istick took a month to arrive by epacket, I used it for 1 min sold it the next day; )

Is there consensus on which FT clone is the best?! I want to get a second base to use with my Erlk nano kit as my ErlPrinz seems to be in full time use.

Yeah it is Dusty... I have the silver box version and, the draw is decent. comparable to a kayfun, maybe a little looser of a draw.
Hmm.. I've got the ErlPrinz which has the larger air-flow, and I've kinda got used to it.
Did they not release a larger air-flow version when the clones first came out? Could have sworn I saw one back in the day (couple months ago!).
The Yiloong has a bigger airflow BUT its not going to interchange parts with the others, not even drip tips. Its 22mm.
And I believe the 1893600 is the same as silver box 1893602, but without the box.
I have the 1893600, the 1893601, the cheap Angelcigs, and the 22mm Yiloong from Artemus. If I were to get another (which I won't), I would get another 1893600 or maybe try the "1:1" at Angel.
