Guys, make fun of me all you want....compare it to toilets, whatever.......I don't care.... I personally have zero interest in "sharing" an atomizer with others, especially a clone that can be had for a more than reasonable $16, the cost of an inexpensive bottle of juice.
Yeah, I know - Call me crazy :p

To each their own. :)
I'm kinda like you. I'd just spring for a $16 atty clone if it interested me.
But... I'd have no issues forking out $50+ for a used authentic (in good condition) that'd been through umpteen owners either.
If in doubt, sterilize the heck out of the stainless and plastic, and replace any o-rings. ;)

Okay, I won't make fun of your mental illness anymore. I had a friend who absolutely refused to use public restrooms, and on the rare occasion he was forced to use one, he'd "hover" over the seat. Of course he also humped trash cans at the mall just to shock people, too. :)

In other news, after a brief fling with carto tanks, I decided they weren't for me and consigned them to the spares box, but never found any other tanks to use my lovely tanklets in. I stumbled across a bag of them that a fellow Provarinati made for me, and had an epiphany.

Yep, you guessed it! They work great in the Erlkonigin! :D I'm so glad I get to use them again. I got a boy and girl skull floating around in there with a celtic cross right now.

Well, my point wasn't in sharing a $20 clone. I think the interest in trying it lies more with those who think they want an authentic. They are on the fence about spending $200, and want to try it first. And the clone parts may not fit the authentic so it may not be a good spare parts atty.

How is the build going Roxy? Any luck?

Just a heads-up. After sanding down my top cap, changing the o-rings to thinner ones the IBtank seemed to fit nicely. However I woke up this morning and found a crack in the tank. Obviously the top cap was still exerting too much pressure on the glass and it cracked under stress. So I wouldn't recommend sanding and using an IBtank, it's thick borosilica and cracking that means that something is really wrong.

Ok, built and filled Erlk sitting here. Afc is completely closed and I can't get it open. How do you open it? I can't get it to turn in either direction.

I just get a fingernail in one of the curves and mine come right off. You might have to resort to using some needle nose pliers and lightly working it off.

Hmm, so maybe the IBTanked would work on mine since I messed up the plastic tank.

Its vaping like a champ! Beginner's luck, but I have been following the authentic thread here and there since Quorox's first post :). I also benefitted from reminders in this thread and the pics. Jax's pics were helpful along with the one showing how far each part should go.

Elanamylove wanted a build pic. Its on my phone, so give me a minute to log on on the phone and post.

Is the taste/flavor beating your other RBA? She whistles but she also makes everything taste so much better. :pervy:
