I have a fasttech silver box Erlkonigin and the IBTANKED fits like a glove. no modifications or flipping needed. Also not tight at all. I checked the hieght and ID of both and they are perfectly even. Also came with extra orings and protective tubes.

Whoa! the Mohawk wick. Left side looks to be a tad too much down the wick channel but I can see how she is vaping good. Watch for dry hits when you have that much going down the channels. Might have to do a prime pull here and there.

No, I think I had it all nice and neat when I primed it, with just the little tail I cut in the wick channel. Been vaping it the past 4 hours now happily.

Agreed! Wick the Erl, authentic or clone properly and you will be rewarded.

I'm currently vaping an Ni200 .34Ω or there abouts build on the authentic(s), wicked with rayon running 26.0w at 440F on the DNA40.

I also have a Kanthal build on the clone that is rocking as well. 1.0Ω build at 23.0w on a DNA30.

I am not sure, but this is the first time I actually seeing/vaping a real wicking feed difference in the rayon vs the cotton..... I think rayon always wicks better than cotton, though not like "leaves it in the dust" kind of a deal, but I rewicked last night with rayon and its wicking like a champ....better than with KGD but I personally prefer the KGD over Rayon...........

Glad to hear about the IBTanked, I dont know if anyone else has my exact clone, so I got the middle of the road one (or the goldilocks)...not too cheap, not too expensive, right in the middle..... I guess I need to just order a IBTtanked glass....you just got the $5 clear glass one for the ErlK right?

If they can hold a twisted 29+32 gauge which is 0.5 mm (26 gauge) they should handle the solid wire even better

It would be nice to see the "range" of different things tried. I generally stick with 30ga for most of my builds, and I have Cellulocotton Rayon and Cellulocotton Cotton. I've been really loving the cellulocotton cotton lately over the rayon.

I have a few different builds in mind to try on it.

Yea the standard $5 one for the Erlkonigin.

It vapes fine at 12w can't get it to go any higher then that or I get dry hits, but at 12w it's fine. Not as high as I like. Have to play with it more and see if I can get it higher.

Also of note... Someone on the Erl thread mentioned doing a SS Mesh wick. I'll definitely be giving that a go as well. Probably SS Mesh with cotton ends to build up "shoulders" will be the trick...

Ok, peeps, how much better is the real deal? Stupid $20 clone and I love this thing . Machining and everything seems very good. Not a single bad hit even though I was expecting a steep learning curve. Just perfection.

I love it enough I'm getting it the glass tank.
