Let's see if I can copy this. You can see the wick channels are cut on the sides of the deck but are very, very shallow on top.

Even on the FT photo, you can see it. Wick slots are on the outside of the deck, but there is barely one on top. Its nowhere near as deep as on the authentic or the 1:1 clones.
Trust me, when you see it in person you will understand what I mean if you have another to compare it to. And if you coil like I do, laying drill bit in those top wick slots to line the coil up with them, it puts your coil awfully far from the airhole.

I noticed it as soon as I took it out of the box. Remember, a week earlier, elenamylove sent me the FT one so I knew what it should look like even though atm that one was in use.
I laid my drill bit on top to see if I thought it would be ok. Coil would be several mm above the airhole. I thought that would seriously affect the flavor. I thought pushing my coil down would make wicking difficult with it having to then go up on both sides of the coil to those very shallow wick slots.
So I washed it and set it aside until my FT clone was empty and ready for rewicking. I used it for a model to see how deep I should go cutting them. Also notice the side wick slots on the Yiloong are about twice as wide as the 1:1 clones. I matched that width to the top ones I cut.

SorryMy Yiloong had no wick channels on top of the deck. And in the photos on Yiloong's website there weren't any either. However, they are always revising everything
I suggest getting one though. Holds 8ml and vapes like a beast!
Eta: weird, can't find it on their website now. The pics oon alibaba don't show it very well. When I got mine I thought it was defective. I looked on their website and the deck pictured there showed no wick slots either. And someone on the FC thread reported his had none either. The ebay seller said they were all that way.

Me also, I pull mine up pretty good after I get it screwed on but I'll fix 'em different (the channels) when I get them (I see it now too)

Wow, the price was good before the discount. I really don't need 3 Erlks. Do they have the polished one, too? That would look so righteous on my Stingray X.

They only have the matte finish. I think I will wait for a polished one. I'm not certain they will release that or not, but if they don't, that's fine. I'm not lacking for attys.
I think I want to try the Billow. Am seriously considering the Gus Estia, Aquav2 or even the new Kayfun down the road. And if decent clones come out at some point, all 3. The new Taifun might be nice as well.

does anyone have the 22mm ERL from focal ecig? I've decided to get a 22mm erl now but, can't decide between the one on focal and the yiloong version... 
I ordered last week with the 5% off code. Wasn't worth it to wait longer to get my order for the few buck I'd save.
I guess I need to put one of those Ni200 coils in one of my Erlk clones because while my TGT with one works pretty good it still isn't as good as my Erlk with standard coil. Imagine vaping at 1.75 volts, who would have thought?
