It was. Just get them even and level. Took me less than half an hour. Good luck.
I just have to say, clones or not. I absolutely love my erls. I will eventually get an authentic, but for now, I'll settle for the clones. They are truly my ideal atty.

I've currently got two, I have three on order. And would love to have a few more so I can have one for each of my mods.
I've used rayon. Cotton, kgd, silica, so far, about to experiment with mesh, cable, and a new material looks like silica but used for making fuses. And is fire resistant, out lasts coils, a friend has used to same wick for 10 months, when it gets gunked up, he torches it. And it turns back to its original white color. Weird stuff. I'll find out what it's called. There's actually a warning label on it, that it's not to be shipped out of the USA, or you could receive a $750,000 (iirc) fine, and jail. Cost is $10 a foot. Was given about 6-7 inches of it to try out. Will let y'all know how it works.

Its a ceramic strand based wick that is heat treated in a kiln.Its basically heat treated XC-116
Sounds about right, was told what it was, but info overload and I forgot the name. LOL. Gonna try a build with it as soon as one of the new erls comes in.
Hopefully one day, they will all be replaced with authentics..... but spent all off my vaping funds on some nice authentic mods, to get this started, my slow walk away from clones. LOL

Technically, it's not a clone. But it's not authentic either.
I also spent all my extra cash on some authentic stuff (used mod and lots of parts...to retrofit my clones). I now own one authentic GP PAPS and 4 PAPS clones that are now 90% authentic parts, a ZNA clone...also with many authentic upgrades, and an authentic ZNA, also with authentic upgrades.
I'm too cheap to buy new authentics, but see no reason to settle for clones only. Mix and match is the way to go, unless you can find the factory that makes the authentic Aqua v2 and have them make an extra run for you at authentic specs, then sell them cheap, like FastTech is doing.
...and I still need to order that authentic 22mm tank for my erlk clone.

I got one in a similar package from FC. Pass. I had to get the base replaced because of a stripped post screw. The replacement works but it's a different color than the top parts. Overall, the edges are fairly sharp and uncomfortable to handle. It won't cut you but it's sharp. Same with the base, especially the ridges on the base that allows 360.° airflow.
The clone in the silver box (like below) is the best so far but there's been a flood of new clones. Stay away from the YZP version in a black box.
So far I've ordered 4 different ones from FT, and one from Alibaba..... the silver box is the best of the two I have now, still waiting in the other three.. .
I have no plans on getting any more. I just can't deal with the loud whoosh on draws. I still need to try to smooth out the airflow on the base.
If I was going to try another one, I'd try this one just because it has more accessories:

Yes, Yiloong. I already have the silver box so if it's a flop, I have accessories for my sliver box
. I've only placed a few orders from FC because they have a 10% discount (fcvapingcheap) and that makes them competitive with FT but shipping takes more time for some reason.
You should order that one and let us know
