I think it is absolut normal when the Americans get there iphone earlier than me here in europe and it is not a reason to order from USA,
Or stanly get his Porsche and all colors first in Germany

I disagree especially with limited run items like this.
With different release dates anyone that really wants one would be crazy not to order from whichever shop has them available first just t give them a second chance at the item in case they sell out. Which would in turn make others order from the next shop that has them available.
With a universal release date people can check the vendor of their choice first. If that vendor is sold out they can check the other vendor's stock.
Agreed but we all know there will be enough esterigons for anyone ordering on day 1.

That is ironic to me, as making the release date consistent results in fewer early American orders from a European dealer. This change should make these more available for European buyers.

Supply isn't an issue. Its not like 2 years ago when I started and you had to be there as soon as the site came up refreshing like mad. Imeo has made significant improvements in organisation, and communication through this forum is as good as ever.

Iphone is a mass production product...and that is the key in this argument. If Esterigon was not a very limited production, then it wouldn't matter.

I won't buy from a euro seller again, even if that's the only way to purchase it. Nothing at all against Esmoke...they are a first class operation. A $20 FDA processing fee was it for me.
Getting an Esterigon at the same time as the Europeans get theirs is not a concern at all for me. I just want a decent chance at getting one from the US seller, and if esmoke has already sold out, then Europeans will be competing for purchase from the US vendor.

so maybe having some geographical zone to garanty a fair exclusivity during new devices launch time would be more efficient for all ??
I don't want to go to deep in this matter since it's Imeo's business model after all, none of mine ... but as a customer, this additional delay is frustrating ...
