Imeo i dunno if you can help me with this. When I press the button I feel like it goes in and then on the right side it does a small click and it fires. I disassembled everything and reassembled. I saw that when the contacts are not present it doesn't do this so it's not the spring for sure. but when I press it and look from down I see it has some play meaning it doesn't go straight all the time. I have a feeling it is slipping on the contacts and then a small click means it is in contact now. Is anyone noticing this?

My new masterpiece is in my hands! Another lovely Esterigon. Now I take the 1st one and clean. I need to find why button is not staying in. I cleaned it before and used small amount of Vaseline on the oring. Anyway I can vape one, clean one. I've been using the iAtty on JGG and now back to Esterigon and it hits harder. Maybe the JGG needs cleaned too!

Sorry... not so excited about my esterigons. At first very impressed about the design and performance, now disappointed about the button. A button only fixed by one o-ring ist not good for daily use outside home. Lost (and found :)) the button three times. Okay, have my iAttys again sit on my GGTS's...

I would agree about checking the o-ring. I fidget and play with the button a lot (popping it out and in I also take off the locking cap a lot again very fidgety) Anyways my button has never just fallen off. I guess I could see it getting stuck on a thread and falling off or something but I can hold my mod by the botton and shake it with an 18650 and a Penelope and the button doesn't come off.

editing because I just read that your problem has been resolved so please disregard.

I had a similar issue aal, to the extent of getting misfires. I can't explain why it made a difference but I flipped the ends of the spring and haven't experienced it again. It's like the spring was getting caught for some reason. Sometimes turning the button would fix it temporarily but flipping the spring has fixed it completely so far (and it's been a while)

the 1/4 turn did not work completely but placed this "click" somewhere else. And yes I had misfires. I will try flipping the spring or use another one. Thanks.

it's just a 2x1 o-ring if you have a ggts or a UFS you can borrow one from there. If you want I can send you one but I wouldn't be able to do it till Wednesday

Thanks for the offer but I'm back to Africa Wednesday and flying all next week. I've got spares kits for Ithaka, JGG and penelopes's I'll dig through my stuff before I head out. Thanks for the size as well.
