Believe it or not, I read this entire thread from page 1. It took a total (part time) of 3 days :D
I have all the parts either here or on order. Thank you bigblue30 for the original concept/prototype and thanks to everyone else who contributed to this thread.
I'm really looking forward to building this mod :)

You, sir, deserve some type of award. If you need any help with the build, shoot me a pm

Could someone help me out buying the parts for the Evercool Mod? Would Radioshack have all the necessary part (i.e. resistor, capacitor, trimmer/potentiometer)?

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you didn't get a response since all the information you seek is posted throughout this thread, but the sheer volume of posts in the thread can be daunting.

To answer, no you cant get everything you need from RS. You can get everything you need from madvapes (510 connector) and your choice of mouser or digikey for the electrical components. Mouser is faster at shipping in my dealings with both companies, but both are good and have pretty much the same stock as far as this mod is concerned. As for 20g wire, and epoxy or drill bits and such, I recommend local, like lowes and RS.

You can also find many of the items on Ebay and such, but be warned if you buy from China through Ebay, it can take forever especially with the holidays approaching.

Thanks danwich but I already got the parts from MadVapes and Mouser. This was after reading from other topics and this thread. Went to to local Radioshack about a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find the parts or it was just expensive. Now, I just need to put it together and I hope I have enough backup parts if I mess up.

Congrats on getting all the parts! It's hard to mess up if you double check everything before you fire it up. Got mine up in the first try. Multimeter is a must. make sure to follow the schematics and last but not least don't mess up with capacitors' polarities... Good luck. :toast:
