Im three weeks in and I read here all the time, and it seems like other noobs will be skilled in vaping speak quickly, while I still trying to figure out what dripping means? :?: Oh and I am still using my 7-11 ecig  I feel like I am way behind while the rest of the classroom is rebuilding their new ecigs macgyver style with multiple flavors and a flux capacitor!! Alas, I am analog free for three weeks which i didnt think I would make even 3 hours so I figure if it aint broke....

Right on with the "If it ain't broke" part. If it's working for you, don't screw with it until you're ready.

... but if anyone knows where to get one of those Flux Capacitor mods, I'd totally be up for buying one. Although I wonder if they're safe to use in a car while going 88 mph...

LOL, it just means that you aren't as OCD as the rest of them, or us. Whatever works for you. If you can make it out cheaper than smoking, then you are ahead of most of us, and probably them too. I'm in for about 3 months, and haven't saved yet . . . I've been investing.

The only thing that I would suggest, is to get something for a back-up. Like you said . . . if it ain't broke . . . . But when it does break, you don't want to be left with analogs as you back-up option. :) Other than that, don't worry about the lingo and whatnot, just keep coming to ECF when you need something, and swarms of people will offer a lot of great assistance.

+1 on the backup idea. In fact that's how I made the jump from my mini (like yours) to an eGo. The extra battery life is nice, but again, it it ain't broke...

... the trick is to make sure you're not left in a spot where it's broken though.

... and I still want a Flux Capacitor mod. ;)

I know the feeling. There is a bit of a learning curve. It's like learning to speak a foreign language. LOL

I've gotten to the point that I understand the basics, but just when I get comfortable, something else catches my attention, and I'm back to the beginning!

I agree with the back up (or several, LOL). When you're ready, you'll take the plunge! Until then...great job on the three weeks analog free!

Being a vaper means loving to vape. Period. Anyone who likes to vape is all in one class. There are those who like to build stuff and those who like to decorate. Some like to be chemists and mix things up. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter where you go it, or how much you spent. If you can vape it, you are part of the master class! Welcome to the ECF family, where we love noobs and don't file members into classes! (FYI, most of the abbreviations are underlined, depending on your browser you can hang your mouse on the underlined abbreviation and a little box will pop up and tell you what it means. Very handy. Think of it as Cliffs Notes!)

This is a huge and somewhat daunting forum. I'm sure that many newcomers find it intimidating. I know that I did, but I also learned a whole lot here during the first few months I was here. As long as what you have is working for you, great. If you ever feel a need to make a change in your routine, there is more than enough information here to help you make an informed choice. Don't sweat it though. If you're not smoking anymore you've already made the important change. Anything else is just a minor adjustment. All the best to you in the coming year!

yea, but where would you get a battery that could offer 1.21 jiggawats of power to make that flux capacitor mod work.

I still feel left in the dust, but i've only been vaping for maybe a week... and the vids that mistressnomad made were amazing. They made things so much clearer to me. felt like taking the fast track instead of rummaging through all the forums. it gave me basic minimum knowledge lol

You are using your 7-11 e-cig and you quit. In my opinion you have a Doctorate degree!!
I am off those terrible analogs but I need nuclear reactors, flux capacitors and massive jiggawatts of power :)
