Hello Folks has anyone tryed the eVic mod and if so how is it working out for you? Thinking about getting one but would like some feed back first
Search eVic
Plenty of feed back both good and bad.
I own (2) eVic and have no issues. Both work just as (I) expect them to.
For me it works excellent between 1.7-2.8ohm resistances and 6.4-9w depending on E-liquid
Some say the 5v limit is to low.
Many never Vape anywhere near the limits.

My eVic has a few issues. It has frozen on me twice while attempting to make adjustments. I had to remove and re-insert the battery twice to restore functionality. On one of the freezes, the clock had mysteriously reset itself to 00:00, when I tried to reset the clock, it froze up. Another time, I was adjusting the wattage, and it froze again. The screen can't be viewed out doors, at least I can't on mine. One time when I had it set to wattage and was making an adjustment, it changed itself to vv.
Look up the joyetech eVic recall lsit and make sure you don't have one that was recalled. I had to return two becuase they were on the list. My third unit was not on the list and works great.
Is it running the 1.2 firmware?
I'm not on the list, and I'm also on v1.2. I know not all the eVic's probably won't have issues, but I feel I should point out what is going on with mine.
Have you tried a factory reset and reflash? Here is a link to all the files you need to preform the reset. Just flash the reset hex code, followed by a reflash of the 1.2 firmware. This took care of all the issues I was having with count resets and random freezes. Never had the clock issue.
