I thought it was funny in their manual they have the eVic plugged into a Mac showing its USB charging capabilities, but didn't have any Mac support at the time lol.

I was told by an ovale customer care rep. that the 2.0 update will be released with a mac version of their software at the same time.

Crossin' fingers!

I have a Provari and yeah it works good looks great and I know it's bullet proof, but does it provide the same vape and ease of use my DNA mods do..... not by a long shot. My next and second from last purchase will be a Legacy with a Kick..... and that is because I dont have the patience nor willingness to wait for a chance to get a real GGTS and I refuse to buy a clone. Just my :2c:

Am I missing something because all these people are craving the DNA cause it can go even higher in volts but I don't even come close to 5 or 6 volts even with a 3ohm cart. If I were to go as high as people say they go I would be inhaling fire, and it'd also taste like ....

I run a 3.0-3.2 ohm carto at 7 watts on my DNA20 and it kicks out about 4.7 to 4.8 volts per the screen readout. Also if you are like me that likes a cooler vape at around 5-7 watts either a Kicked device or a DNA12 would suit your needs. My DNA20 at the lowest setting 7watts is a bit too much power for me to handle sometimes, but my DNA12 box mod is set to about 6.5 watts and I can put any resistance carto on it and it will put out the vape temp I love everytime. Comes in handy for juice tasting at brick and mortars as you never know what resistance their testing cartos are. Even though my DNA12 box mod is kinda big and ugly it produces (in my opinion) one of the best vapes I have ever had. It is all personal preference though as each persons pallet is different. Just giving you my honest opinion as I have had the luck to try all sorts of devices.

See that's the thing I don't get, we've been able to vape at 7-8 watts so whats the difference if it CAN go higher if you never do? Even the evic which is getting hated on cause of power still goes up to 11 watts...

I'm no electronic expert, so I can only go by the "vaping power chart". The highest in the green zone is about 8.5 watts. Above that, and one risks burning the coils. Am I wrong? Anyway, it doesn't matter to me because I vape citrus and fruit juices, where the sweet spot is lower.

What's the problem if a eVic only goes to 11 watts? Some have boasted the Janty goes up to 25 watts. What are they going to vape, fried bacon juice?

The kick and DNA12 start out at 5 Watts which with a 3 ohm carto is basically like setting my provari to 3.9V. I vape primarily fruit juices too which is why the DNA20 does not suit my taste like the DNA12 does. Thats also why I said a kicked device or a DNA12 mod would probably work best. I have 12 tanks in constant rotation and can tell you that a Boge 3.0 carto is not always what it says it is as far a resistance out of the box and that the resistance changes over the life of the carto...... I am not the type of person that likes hitting buttons more times that I have to. I just want to be able to switch a tank and vape away which is why I chose DNA products.

Just wanted to add that the reason why more than 11 watts would be a big thing is that if your using a LR carto say 1.5 ohm at 4.1V = About 11 Watts and that might not be enough for them. Also LR is very common among RBA vapers

I guess that's why I'm a mechanical engineer and not a spark chaser. By the chart, a LR still will burn a coil at 11 watts. Is the chart I've been using invalid?
