copied and pasted from an email that I just received. No surprise at all.

"Dear Customer, We wanted to give you a little update regarding the new lost vape Drone DNA250C and its progress. lost vape has contacted us today to advise us that there is a little delay due to a change in the manufacturing process. The new Drone’s are now to be made with a new material called Lexan. Lexan is very similar to Ultem and it is produced by the same company, SABIC. Importantly, Lexan is the same colour, has a higher tensile strength than Ultem and will allow for a much better quality finish for the complex Drone design (Ultem was proving too inconsistent to produce). At this time, Lost Vape have only confirmed that 1x batch of Drone DNA250C is to be produced as the company is mainly focused on the overwhelming success & demand of their other new product; The Orion dna Go Pod System. As such, Lost Vape have advised us today that all being well with the new process, we should expect to receive the delivery and start shipping to our Pre-Order Customers from mid-end January ’19. Vapetime will continue to update you with any further details as soon as we receive information directly from Lost Vape. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us"

Edit: Ultem? What Ultem, oh the color of Ultem.

I ran into a couple of really young boys a couple of nights ago, maybe 11-12 years old. One had a Juul and the other some other brand pod system. They thought they were cool, well they said so any way.
I was left wondering if I looked as silly as they did puff'n my stuff.

Lexan is a polycarbonate marketed by GE, a soft one that historically cracks when exposed to cinnamon and citrus flavorings. Definitely not the same as the harder more chemical and temperature resistant PEI (Ultem) polycarbonate. Sounds like a downgrade to me dwcraig1.

It wasn't Ultem to start with as far as I know. A poster on another forum mentions fixing his Vapecige squok box 'cause it leaked like a sieve (510),. maybe it's good that mine is possibly lost.

I didn't "find" this video originally, but found it on another board I watch. Thought you guys, and ladies, might get a kick out of it.
I'd like to see this enhanced. Re-purpose the stink dispenser to dispense super-glue to onto the glitter as its being dispersed.

Normally I enjoy checking on my coils and wicking. Although I have been putting off checking some of them like my Vapefly Galaxies MTL RDTA coil and wicking for a few weeks now. Mostly because I know what I would find. As I am sure it would look disgusting and I would stop everything and immediately build and rewicked it.

Well yesterday my curiosity got the best of me and it did look disgusting. Maybe even worse than disgusting. Normally I would clean my coils and rewicked them. Well I skipped cleaning it and just tossed that nasty coil straight into the trash.

Tried fitting a Ni200 Clapton in there (I always wanted to try that in here). It fit fine, but the C-clamp posts would just pop the leg back out when I tightened the screw. Oh well, I bet it would have tasted great. Okay another round wire build. I generally use cotton in here because the wicking ends up being changed a lot in this one. But I used rayon this time.

Juiced it and boy that looks so much better. Vaped it and OMG! Taste exactly the same as that nasty looking coil did. And there was nothing wrong with the taste, except it just looked nasty. Oh well, at least it looks better for now.
