I use 4 wraps on a roofing nail aprox 3mm ID, Ohms out @ .1 I lift it so the air flow hits the bottom of the coil. I wick it loose so it wicks fast, you can check it by pulling it out, it should look real saturated :) I use the smaller air slit, I don't like too much air flow! it waters down the flavour :) I use a huge Preheat! 100 watts, it comes up to temp fast. I can get a nice short fast hit, that works for me :)
IMO My Plus's beat the mesh tank :) for flavour, less juice combustion & the bonus is it's a TC vape :)

Thanks for the feedback guys, I went back and studied the diagrams again today and I figured it out, that bushing is for the internal shaft, the bearing supports the axle shaft stub when it's inserted. The axle mates with the splines on the end of the shaft.

7B bearing, 7A bushing

Must be titanium. Because my Ni200 would be .04 to .05 range.

When I wick loose, my wick pops.

Up to a point, then more closed restricts flavor.

I used to. But getting that extra 200 to 500msec warm up speed comes at a price of much less battery life.

Really? My mesh tanks blows away my Plus tanks for flavor and vapor. But I never could build a horizontal coil that can beat a decent wide open vertical coil. I find vertical coils needs more airflow than horizontal coils for flavor. Also, how are you vaping your Plus and mesh? MTL or lung? I don't think either will do too well with MTL.

Yes Bill, Really!
The mesh tank is good for a Sub ohm tank! But it's not going to beat a Well built Rebuildable.
I just gave you the recipe for an excellent build in the Aromamizer Plus!
BTW I have the same juice in my Squeezer with a Pulse 22 on a .19 Nichrome, single, Clapton coil, it also produces flavour as good as the mesh tank :) It's a Mec mod (BF'er)

The biggest issue I have with the mesh tank is, it has way too much Air Flow, even all most closed off! It use's way too much juice, I ran 3 tank thru mine today! with the bigger bubble glass :( It's not exactly battery friendly either :(

Rebuilding requires a lot of trial & error, when the build is rite! the result is better than any blister pack coil, I'v ever tried :)

I will say, the Freemax mesh tank is the best Sub Ohm tank/coil I'v tried to date :)

I have the same build in my Plus as yours. Except I have more wraps than yours. I even posted a pic, remember?

I too have a Pulse RDA and it doesn't match the mesh here either.

Too much airflow? Why do people say this? I can close mine clockwise (top view) and you can't draw any air through it at all. How much tighter do you want it? What the metal version doesn't close off the airflow completely like the resin version does?

More juice? Sure, more mass (more metal to heat up), means more juice, more vapor, and more flavor. Tiny mass means small amount of juice used, very little vapor, and far less flavor. Makes perfect sense to me.

Well every time I rebuild, I get the same thing over and over again. Even when I use a Crown RBA with their horizontal coil preinstalled, they still suck just like my horizontal coils do. My two Kayfun v5 are coming tomorrow also uses horizontal coils. I bet I'll experience the same problem with them too.

And having a horizontal coil or coils and having airflow coming from two opposite directions come colliding together underneath the coil(s) means the incoming airflow looses its energy. Now it stalls until it can pick up energy again by heat and/or vacuum. I am trying to picture how this could be better for something? I can't really think of anything. I just never got a good experience using the airflow colliding method myself. Rather keeping the airflow moving in one direction always gives me a better experience. YMMV ;)

Bill, if you're happy with the triple mesh coils? Filler up & go :) I like rebuildable's :)

If I post a build pic, that is working well for me, that don't mean it will work well for you, or that you will like it. It just means it's working well for Me :)

There is no rite or wrong in vaping, just opinions :)

The best vape is the one you like & everyone is different :)

I was squonking since March, but lately I retired all of them and placed them up on the shelf. Those silicone bottles started getting a dirt taste and smell from them that I haven't managed to get out of them yet. So I have come to a greater appreciation of good old glass and SS. ;)

For me personally, if I cant rebuild it then I dont want it. Something about being as self sufficient as possible just resonates to my core. Not only because of the of the reduced lifetime cost of ownership, but more so just wanting to be as Fed-Proof as possible.

Now my wife, she uses cartridges. If the Feds ever do lower the ban-hammer then I will switch her over to rebuildables. Until then, it is sooooo much easier to just hand her a pack of coils.

After 10 days since my Dec 24 order from Fasttech, they finally shipped it today. Maybe it has a chance to get here by February 24th.
I placed one order on the 19th and it is scheduled for delivery this Saturday.

I placed another order on the 25th and it says it shipped on the 28th, but Tracking shows no movement yet, just "Pre Shipment".

I would hate to see what those Chinese Postal distribution centers look like this time of year!

New Orion out, no DNA Go 1/2 the price, Kanthol pods @ 1 ohm, steady 17 watt out put.
I bet they weren't selling like they thought they would? So a huge reduction in cost mite help? Buy Lost Vape Orion Q 17W 950mAh Black Weave 2ml 1.0Ohm Pod System

IMO a pod redesign is still necessary, maybe a better pod with a coil head would have improved sales? They choose the no more DNA Go option instead :(
