All most all of the better quality couriers have a back in policy, their drivers can actually get fired if they don't! Problem with Amazon is they use any one willing to do deliveries :( Quality cost $, in this competitive world we live in everyone try s to cut corners.

Yeah, but there's a note on my delivery account saying don't drive on the lawn. Their quality control is so low they hire people that can't read! Plus he would have had to back up at least twice to make a three point turn.

There's another policy UPS, FedEx and even USPS doesn't tell people, none of them are suppose to drive onto customer's property! I've had problems with all three of them driving way too fast and on the lawn when it was wet and the ground soft leaving me with a mess to fix. I talked with the post master at our local post office and they told me the drivers know they are not allowed to drive into driveways. Then a couple years ago FedEx drove on the lawn one spring making a big mess, I called the 800 to complain and they told me the same thing. Then it was UPS, called them, same thing, none of them are supposed to use our driveways. Thing is some of the drivers may not know it, some may just ignore it thinking home owner don't know any better. I use to run out and only complain to the drivers, that only worked until a new driver came along. What it took to end most of it was keep calling the headquarters and complain. I told each one of them I have security cameras, I have proof when it happens and if it happens again I'll pull them into court, a threat I doubt I'd take the time to follow with but they don't know that.

It's taken me about a dozen phone calls over the years bending their ears and yes every once in a while a new driver will drive in but when they do I'll chew them out if I catch them letting them know that I know they aren't supposed to be using my driveway, I let them know I'll be calling the company to complain and I'll always call and bend their ear, it's greatly reduced it. When you complain to headquarters I suspect the driver gets tagged with a mark their record and probably only so many before they'd be let go. FedEx did offer to make things right with the lawn, I told them to keep their money and their drivers out of my driveway.

Call the headquarters, complain! Be the squeaky wheel! You don't have to just put up with it!

lol, willy ;) how is that supposed to work? should they leave the packages up on the road or walk them to the house which in my case would translate into a couple hundred feet each way?
sure, i quite often wish for better drivers but i realize none of them had my dad as a teacher insisting i drive backwards on old forest roads, sometimes what felt like hours on end :?:

It seems the onboard 2 amp charger on both my Fuchia 213 squonkers will only charge to 4.1 volts. Not necessarily a bad thing I guess, the cell will probably last twice as long. That's what I set my DNA LiPo's to stop at.

Have you tried Canada's Best E-Cigarette & Online Vape Shop - Wicks & Wires ? I've had good customer service (both pre and post sale), found 'stuff' on-sale at a decent price, only pay $5 flat rate shipping to the states, and get my delivery fairly promptly given it has to go through customs.

Never been to the store, but familiar with the retailer. They are one of a few vape shops that cater to more higher end devices in Toronto. Vapes By Enushi and BBVapes ecigarettes.ca are a couple of others worth mentioning. $5 flat rate to the US is pretty cheap.

I've called every time it's happened. Each time I've been careful to stress that I have video of the entire delivery. What was interesting this time was the Amazon rep was going to put a permanent note on my "delivery instructions" not to drive on the lawn or yard. She was surprised to find that note already there.

The worst are Laser Ship. They use an Uber model to hire drivers, with their own vehicles, and seem to get the very dregs when it comes to drivers. I started out my "real" employment as a delivery driver for a lumber yard/home store driving a "bread truck". I HAD to learn how to back it up from day one. It's not hard, just watch the mirrors the whole time, checking, quickly, out the windshield to make sure you're going straight. Heck, the same is true with a trailer but trailers are more complicated. To me if you can't back up a van style vehicle properly you shouldn't be driving it, let alone be a "delivery driver".

I've never had UPS, FedX or USPS make a U turn on the lawn. Our driveway is a straight shot of about 150 feet from the street to the gate. OK, the USPS driver we have now isn't great at backing up and wanders off a little, sometimes, but she manages to do it and is getting better with practice. Only Amazon delivery drivers seem to feel that a yard or lawn are appropriate areas to drive on here. When I catch them at it I go out and confront them, verbally and very forcefully. Unfortunately they seem to change drivers every day, high turn over I guess.

Next step will be spike strips down both sides of the driveway from the street to the gate. All it'll take is some 2x6 and 20 penny nails. That should tone it down very quickly.

LoL, well heck yes Tibs! That's the job they signed up for, a well paying union job with damn good benefits and one they have to be physically fit for as a job requirement, don't like the job, don't take it. Having to walk a distance to drop off a package is unreasonable? Really? Postmen/women walk to all the houses in town, people in town shouldn't get their mail anymore because the workers have to walk? Maybe everyone should be given a segway....

Heads up on a heck of a deal for a really nice extra heavy duty 100FT extension cord marked down to $25 on Amazon, a savings of $50 - $60 This is a flash sale and won't last long, these will likely sell out in minuets so jump on it of you can use one.

I had me another one of those DUH moments. Being curious as to whether the battery door on my Fuchai Sqounk is making good enough contact or not. I decide to compare the voltage drop on the screen of the Fuchai to my Vicious Ant Spade with Device Monitor.
Here's the DUH part, I set the profile on the Spade to 80 watts to match the settings already on the Fuchai. So I upload the settings and the DNA screen still says 75 watts. So I the set it to 35 watts and upload and it says 35 watts on the screen. I then set it back to 80 and again it says 75. Finally I realized it was because it was a DNA75C.....DUH.
Oh the voltage drop between the two mods was comparable, that was until I cleaned the battery cap's threads on the Spade then the voltage drop on the Fuchai sucked.
