Does anybody read Chinglish? I have two digital scales but I can't find the one that can read 0.01 grams. No big deal, I bought another one. Anyway just got it and it says my HCigar VT75D with two 18650 batteries and a Atlantis EVO tank filled with juice weighs in at 95.3 grams. Well that isn't right. It should weigh like 273 grams. So I looked at the manual on how to calibrate it and here it is.

Playing with it and trying to interpret Chinglish. Here is how I think it goes.

1) Power on and hold down mode key until CAL appears (about 3 seconds)
2) Press mode key again and CAL will flash and then 500.00g will appear.

That is all I got and I can never get it to say PASS or change from 500.00g. Aren't I suppose to put 500g on the scale or something? Or does it auto calibrates itself?

I take it you have nothing that is 500g? Find something close (that’s small enough to fit on the scale). If it says pass, then you know it requires a calibration weight. It will not be properly calibrated (unless your object was exactly 500g), but it will tell you how it’s calibration functions.

Oh that is easy. I think 500ml of water is about 500g. I'll just take a beaker and add water to it while on the working scale until it reads 500g. ;)

It is beer o’clock on a Saturday. Water didn’t even cross my mind. But that would work.

Just had a look at mine. Batch date April 2019 so almost a year since I acquired it. Colour is a little lighter than yours but that could just be the lighting. But no lumps

Best description I can give is mine looks amber and thin similar to a good single malt scotch.

Well after sitting for hours, the clumpy stuff sank to the bottom. I was hoping that maybe it was just below freezing and those clumps were just ice and would melt and blend back in again. But no such luck. Maybe the outside freezing temperatures while in shipping ruined it? The other flavors I purchased seems ok, except one or two of them were supposed to be clear and they are not. They smell ok though. I guess I have to put off mixing some Peanut Brittle once again. :(

Is it crystallized? Can you pop the cap and get a chunk out?

You would think if below freezing temperatures had an effect, there would be reports of this effect. TFA acetyl pyrazine is a pretty common flavouring, this is the first I have seen/heard of it developing chunks.
