Is it crystallized?

Looks like it to me.

Can you pop the cap and get a chunk out?

I was thinking on waiting til Monday before messing with it. That way I can tell LNW about it and see what they want to do. They might want that one back, so I shouldn't mess with it until I hear from them. But I reduced the size and resolution of the earlier pic. Here is the original so you can see it close up.

You would think if below freezing temperatures had an effect, there would be reports of this effect. TFA acetyl pyrazine is a pretty common flavouring, this is the first I have seen/heard of it developing chunks.

Component list from TFA

Good stuff there. :D

What are the other flavours that was suppose to be clear? If I own them, will compare.

TFA Double Chocolate (Clear)
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear)

Well after sitting for hours, the clumpy stuff sank to the bottom. I was hoping that maybe it was just below freezing and those clumps were just ice and would melt and blend back in again. But no such luck. Maybe the outside freezing temperatures while in shipping ruined it? The other flavors I purchased seems ok, except one or two of them were supposed to be clear and they are not. They smell ok though. I guess I have to put off mixing some Peanut Brittle once again. :(

All you have to do is warm the bottle up a bit, and shake the heck out of it, there are a few other TFA flavorings that I have had to do that to. The flavoring will recombine and taste the same. :|

Guess try what @kas122461 recommended. I’ve never seen this kind of separation with TFA flavours.

My Graham Cracker clear is the same colour as my TFA acetyl pyrazine – light amber. My TFA Double Chocolate clear is much darker. I think (and could be wrong) that the term “clear” indicates a certain ingredient was removed from the original recipe. CAP does the same with their “V2” flavouring.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I was going to say that TFA double chocolate clear has changed over time. I've been using it for long time and it used to be, basically, clear. Sometime last year, or the year before, it changed to a dark chocolate color. Still tastes the same though. I've never used acetyl pyrazine but it does look like it crystalized.

Interesting. I’ve only been using the flavour for about a year so can’t comment on what colour it used to be. Perhaps “clear” actually meant “clear”.

Looking at the component list, both Double Chocolate clear and Graham Cracker clear are missing Caramel (color) CAS 8028-89-5, where the originals contain this ingredient.

Anyone set their clocks the wrong direction?

Nope. My VCR has been flashing 12 o’clock since 1988.

Have a battery operated analog clock in my kitchen that I forgot to set last fall, so it’s now the correct time. All other clocks are set by my cat (cats own the internet, therefore control NTP). So it is always bacon o’clock in my residence.

Many thanks, that did the trick kas122461. After about 15 minutes at 140°F, practically all of the crystals were gone. A good shaking got rid of the little bit that was left. ;)

I am glad to help, I keep my large bottles of flavorings in a small frig in the basement, so I have experienced it with other flavors also. I just use a coffee cup warmer for warming them up, and that is the temp that it reaches. I wouldn't want the temp to get any higher that that though. :)

Well I just got up an hour late, I never paid any attention to my desktop's clock and it didn't automatically change. I had to go into settings and turn on "Set Time Zone Automatically".
My desktop has an alarm clock app.

Well I have no way of knowing for sure now why my desktop's time didn't automatically change. My two laptops didn't have "set time zone automatically" either and they made the change. I suspect that somehow my desktop was set to the wrong zone.
