So, I need to place a FT order.

These Zeus X Mesh atties, they have a huge mouthpiece, are they aimed at DL of MTL?
And what TC compatible mesh replacements would I want off of FT?

I'm no expert on either, the Zeus is a DTL! The only TC option I can see is the SS Mesh from Vandy vape, it comes in a roll SKU 8774700 :)

I had a couple brain storms pass through here. The 1st one was to put heat shrink tubing on the end of 3 mm Ecowool, well that didn't work out. Than I tried aluminum foil foil onto the end of the Ecowool, after half an hour I gave up on that too.
I know what was posted but I tried spaced coils on my poppers. Still popped.
But I think I have figured out what's causing it, I think I was rolling my wicks too tight. Previously I posted about how I roll them so tight they almost turn back into wood.
I'm testing them now. Well one of them, the other is ready and next up.

I would say the airflow can be set for RDL, but I run it wide open for DL personally. I'm using Vandy Vape 150 SS mesh spool at the moment and I'm still on my first build (3 weeks +). With the RTA Mesh, it keeps the mesh soaked and it's looks almost new. Let see, I'm using 2-3mm xfiber cotton from Wotofo. The size of the mesh is 18mm*6.2mm which requires cutting the Vandy Vape to size. Oh and it drinks e-liquid.

Yes I would say so. I just closed down the airflow to about a 3mm opening (a very airy MTL) and at 15W MTL vaping and it wasn't quite enough. Tried at 18W and it was a bit too warm for me and flavor wasn't there either. :(

Way too much surface area I think. Thinner strips and maybe.

Well I bought 5 different spools of mesh (5 foot each) from Vandy Vape. I haven't found any others yet.

80 Mesh Kanthal A1 SKU: 8785105
150 Mesh SS316L SKU: 8785103
200 Mesh SS316L SKU: 8774700
300 Mesh SS316L SKU: 9666249
400 Mesh SS316L SKU: 9666248

After using it all day,(3 full tanks) experimenting with the wicking & different wattages.
I can say the Zeus X is a pretty good atty :) Best top Air Flow I'v used for sure! It has nice smooth Air Flow & a typical mesh vape. The flavour is good! & to be fair I have only used the Ni80 mesh, maybe some other mesh mite perform a little better? It does use juice at a good clip :( I'm assuming it isn't going to leak cause of top Air Flow :) I would liken it to a Sub Ohm tank, it is really easy to build & wick, aimed at the less technical. (most people)

IMO is it better than the Titanium coils I'm using? No :( I may be bias towards the Ti, cause I'v been using it for years now, I find the Ti coils emphasize the flavour notes better than Mesh, or any other coil material for that matter :) IMO Titanium is the Best Kept Secret in Vaping! :)

Did you try any titanium mesh yet?

Titanium Mesh - Stanford Materials

There is also the Zeus X (non mesh) version too if you prefer wire coils.

It does use juice at a good clip :(

Funny I hear that a lot. Although I vape at a lower wattage than just about anybody I have heard of. And I generally vape the Zeus X Mesh between 25 to 30 watts. And juice consumption is the same for virtually everything I vape (Crown 1, Atlantis, Triton, HW1-4, IM1-4, GV Super Mesh, FreeMax Pro Mesh, etc). About 75 puffs per ml. This includes TC coils too and the wattage is the same there too. I guess juice consumption is totally dependent on power alone (assuming we are in vaping temperatures). Although flavor and vapor can be very different with different heating materials at the same wattage. ;)

I'm assuming it isn't going to leak cause of top Air Flow :)

One has been going for a month now with 285ml through it. Not even any wetness anywhere outside or around the 510 yet. Totally bone dry. :)

I just wanted to try this atty cause of all of the positive reviews I'v seen! I got the Profile RDA for the same reason, I don't buy into the hype I have to See for my self!
A few years back I bought an avocado RDTA (GeekVape) It was the biggest piece of Crap I had ever bought, the centre post broke all the hold down screws were stripped out, it practically feel apart in a few months! I swore off GeekVape products back then :(
Like I said I got the Zeus just out of curiosity, I have plenty of attiy's in rotation, that I consider Good Quality & will stick with them :)

Split a plastic drinking straw down the middle, put the Ecowool inside the opening and roll the straw closed. Push the straw through the coil until you can get a grip on it from the other side of the coil. Hold the Ecowool tight and pull the straw through the coil leaving the Ecowool behind.

First time I heard of Geekvape was in 2018 and I believe they have been around since 2017. And the engineer for Heatvape who designed the Invader Mini also designed Geekvape's Aegis. I liked Geekvape's GBox and Aegis line. I do have their Radar RDA, but I didn't care for the flavor. Built quality seemed fine though. Their tanks I have are the Shield, Cerberus, and Zeus X. I loved their SS Flasks too. Quality on all of them are good too. Their plastic flasks are cheap crap. I just checked and I have spent a total of $2900 on Geekvape products.

I got curious and I bought a lot of Lost Vape products too and I checked and that total is $3300. It all started with the first Triade DNA200.

There are manufactures that I do stay away from like Smok, iJoy, Joyetech, Wismec (except the Reuleaux DNA), iTaste, and a few others. I hated the Vandy Vape's Pulse X (leaks like crazy) and I only spent a total of $60 on their products. And half of that was on their mesh spools. :p

Thanks for all the feedback on the Zuess.
I think I will stick with my fused clapton TI coils on my Merlins and Aromamizers.
Money is tight anyway, I just got tempted by the rave reviews, but after seeing the mouthpiece I suspected it probably isnt right for me anyway. I like a good strong, restricted airflow, MTL experience.

Sure, now they gone on sale. I have two coming Monday after an email from Annie at Fasttech made it sound like they probably won't get any Centaurus black stabwoods in. Virtually everything Fasttech sells are just preorders. It just ain't worth it. Anyway the 10% off code for MyVPro below is WEEKLY10.

I haven't quite given up yet. I consulted the rayon thread and read a post where Jeremy talks about thinner juice popping more than thicker juice. My 75% PG juice is now about 60% VG.
Edit: I don't know about the popping yet but it sure makes bigger clouds.
