My UPS arrived today, I don't know what I was thinking, I should have had it delivered to my work.
Very heavy even with the batteries removed.
Reminds me of when I moved several massive hardwired UPS's & servers. In a van with armed feds and a suv of them ahead and behind us clandestine style. I wired the new (at that time and they have moved since) Mid States Organized Crime Information Center location and they take their data seriously. Interestingly when I hooked everything back up at the new location I learned that those servers are off line and encrypted data is sent or received on separate computers and only physically transfered after phone verification from the source and destination of correct hash codes and that was a long time ago. They weren't that impressive when it comes to physical security though. It was a remodel of the old IBM building and I caused them to discard and replace all the old electromechanical keypad locks when I showed them I could bypass one in less that 15 seconds with a screw driver. They added ballistic material inside the wall where the receptionist was because I showed them that if I was the bad guy I would threaten her to push the button for the mag lock pointing at her through the sheetrock wall instead of pointing through the bullet proof glass window they added. Everyone that worked on that project had to go through a background check and I'm sure notes got added to my FBI file after that job. Lol

Probably nothing new here but a couple of days ago I disassembled an Atlantis coil head. The coil consisted of two wires coiled in parallel. Each wire had resistor wire in the center with non resistor wire welded on each end. Using EScribe to see the resistance change from cold to hot with an NR section I determined that the NR legs must be Ni200. Because of how stiff the wire was I expected it to be some form of SS, but no.

I now only have one squonker not counting my Flask DNA 40 conversion. So I deicide to set up my styled Haku Riviera RDTA. I found the positive pin broken. Wanting to try to save it I Took down the pins insulator by 2mm, now the pin is flush with the 510 threads but will not make contact with the SXK Boxer's 510 pin. I was getting happy for only a few minutes. It appeared by the corrosion on the two pieces that it was broken for some time.

I Gerry rigged it. Now working and squoks too.

Very common with coil heads. It sure throws the TFR/TCR off. I had to change the TCR of my Crown 1 SS316L coil heads TCR to .00125 to calibrate the temperature because of the nickel legs. And yes, tempered Ni200 is nice and stiff. I've used tempered Ni200 for years.

Wow! I didn't know. I think I'll miss your Drone DNA250 the most. :(

Reminds me of my Vapefly Galaxies MTL RDTAs. Same idea, but the Galaxies are definitely MTL only. And I used them squonked and not too. ;)
