Disc brake piston tool for rear where the piston has to be screwed back in instead of pressed back in. Can be used to just press them in as well.
ah, OK. That's when I gave up doing my own brakes, when I got my first vehicle with rear disc brakes. I had to buy some other specialized too and I said 'nope' ... I'm done. At the time I'd been maintaining our cars for at least 40 years. I decided time to bight the bullet and pay someone else to do it.
I continued doing oil and filter changes but that was it. But the last 2 I had our mechanic do, so there may be an end to doing that too.
We're trying to down size and the other day I was going through my tool chests and started pulling out specialized tools to get rid of. When the heck am I ever going to use brake pliers for drum brakes and springs. And I can't remember the last time I used a dwell meter or timing light. Ain't gonna need that stuff any more either.
