Still running iOS 12.2 here. Apple keeps bugging me to upgrade though. Well you can always restore from a cloud backup if it doesn't work out. You do cloud backups don't you?
from what i read you can't roll back the ios. so if 15.5 won't work (and the phone no longer works) having the cloud backup won't help much :(

Oh weird! I read the backup will restore the OS that was saved on your backup (it has to be from the phone that had the backup, or it won't restore the OS). So I did one backup with 12.2 and I then turned off backups. Thus if I accidentally touch the wrong thing on the screen when Apple pops up out of the blue to upgrade and it does, I can go back through a restore.

Sounded like two low altitude missiles just flew over the house. Just checked Flightradar24 and there is nothing flying around around here for 100 miles. This could be bad!

A couple of fighter pilots playing top gun maybe ...

Windows 11 update to 22H2 will not install on my desktop that meets the requirements. I tried with my laptop running Windows 11 and it throws up a page that says it doesn't meet the requirement, which it doesn't.
No message on the desktop except to try again later.

Linux is the answer.

Ever update a program under Linux? It isn't fun. And heaven forbid if a program requires a kernel update to run. Ever update Linux itself? It is easier to just wipe the disk clean and start from scratch. And oops... no Linux driver for your touch screen? Too bad! Deal with it.
