I've never used 430, ive got so much 316L 28g (950+ ft) left..... A few hundred ft of ni200.... I just never got around to trying any of those other TC wires. I keep wanting to I just keeping buying other stuff first? LMAO.
I have most all the "normal" tc wires, I'm not sure why folks want to use ss 3xx with it's small resistance change from cold to hot, perhaps it's due to it's earlier popularity with the mechanical crowd.
I bought some SS317L to be able to offer some support on it but haven't got around to it as yet.

I bought a 1000 ft spool of 28g Ss316L on eBay for like $24.... It was an impulse buy before I had done any research..... I think I've said this before, I personally don't taste any difference in any of the wires I've tried. I know some people say so&so wire taste better or makes the flavor pop, etc.... I don't get that personally. Not saying its not true or possible - I'm just a simple country boy I guess.

But since I've got 950+ ft of the stuff why not use it? It DOES WORK. And with sp2/sp3 firmware it works even better than before, with the exception of that first hot burst.

Sooner or later I'll order some ss430, or nife## - - - - sooner or later ;)

Is everyone running the newest E-Scribe, with the SP's? I tried it a while back and lost my battery gauge on my mods, that had been updated :( It was still beta then so I just went back to the known stable version.
Was this an issue? Is it fixed now can I update my E-Scribe with out losing my battery gauge?
Whats new? any way? I run mostly Ti & have no issues with the version I'm using :)

Nothing has changed but it comes back by it's self after sleep or upload settings or soft/hard reboot.
Not much of a problem to be honest...just at first it's well...not there.
EScribe has some nice additions to device monitor.

My know issue is in the beginning of the build. It's first couple of minutes vaping a newly wrapped coil. After that initial burst, some voodoo settles it down and it seems to vape fine the rest of the time. Occasionally it does it after a refill (same coil) but not often.
Knowing that, reduce your temp by 100 degrees on new builds, then raise temp as vape gets anemic.

Nothing personal, had 5minutes and about 40 posts to catch up on, skimming is about all anybody got.....

Oh, I know. I've just been away for so long that I had to get in some snide fryering pan worthy remarks.

I verified it's the battery side xt30s that I need.

A picture is worth a thousand hidecouch smileys!

I used to have that hidecouch smiley available in just a few clicks; either that, or saved on ECF somehow for a quick insert/paste whenever I stirred the pot in Snails...:D

That's EXACTLY what I've been doing. I learned the hard way to NOT fire a new coil at my desired temp (450 to 480ish) as it will definately be higher than expected.

I'm just glad it's not only me having that issue. Glad I asked. :)

Oh, and I FINALLY dl'd E-Scribe! :banana::banana::banana:
I ran XP on a Mac Pro with boot camp, one with the 2.4 intel duo. worked pretty good. I had a I7 HP Envy 14 (still do) so I sold it. A guy I know spilled just a bit of beer on the keyboard so he gave it to me. There a place in NYC that specializes in that so I got it fixed but sold it.

I have 2 DNA200 With physical damage. Is there anything I can do to get Evolv repair/replace them with a charge? Or I suppose they're just considered a lost.
When trying to replace a 200 in my hanna had a little clearance issue w/ battery pad wire routing. Rather than heating them up the battery wires & bending 90 degrees. I stupidly tried to do it cold and pried the B+ pad right off the board. Told them what I did & they replaced the board FOC.

How were yours damaged?

Well I lost one of my 200's last night, lost meaning it no longer works.
A VT133, I was swapping some batteries in it to compare sag and all of a sudden I got the "Check Battery" message. That is with batteries and charging cable. With just the batteries it only lights up the screen when the fire button is pressed. EScribe says pack is 5.20 volts, cell 1 is 0.02 volts and cell 2 is 5.18 volts. I metered 8.4 volts off the boards battery pads. A ticket has been created.
I guess it was my turn.
I'm really starting to think it's the battery board with the problem....getting confused.
