Well I lost one of my 200's last night, lost meaning it no longer works.
A VT133, I was swapping some batteries in it to compare sag and all of a sudden I got the "Check Battery" message. That is with batteries and charging cable. With just the batteries it only lights up the screen when the fire button is pressed. EScribe says pack is 5.20 volts, cell 1 is 0.02 volts and cell 2 is 5.18 volts. I metered 8.4 volts off the boards battery pads. A ticket has been created.
I guess it was my turn.
I'm really starting to think it's the battery board with the problem....getting confused.

Sorry to hear that :( We have all been there.
Couldn't help but think, from your last line. That the battery board is a Hcigar part not an Evolv.
I suspect Evolv will want just the board sent in any way, So you may have to strip down the vt133, & test the board. Hope it all works out for Ya :)

You are kidding me! That despicable RX200 PCB was designed by Texas Instruments?

I was actually thinking about ordering one of these for $40. I'm a huge fan of the flask formfactor - but figured I wouldn't like the chip in it. Anyone have experience with them? Positive or Negative?

You know I was a flask fan from the clone thread, I often thought about one of these but I kept holding out for a return to a top display. Just isn't a flask with a front display.

Heard of a lot of alignment issues with battery doors on these. Some have returned two of them before they were sent one that aligned properly. Discussion Threads on these quieted down pretty quickly after they were released & I don't consider that a great sign.

If you like the temp control of the dna200, don't even consider anything rx. The rx gives control of the set temp, but absolutely no control of the wattage applied. I have an rx200s sitting on the shelf due to its poor temp control behavior - don't appreciate it hitting my .06 coils with 175 watts until they are up to temp with no option to change, makes the transition from warm up to maintaining temp very noticeable.

Really, my RX200 used to allow me to adjust wattage a bit higher than I needed to set for a reasonable preheat & rely on TC setting to regulate the vape even if wasn't what I would call a terribly accurate device. Jumped out of TC on me a few times. Stopped using it fairly early on though as it just wasn't comparable to DNA200.

Those RX fans would swear by it though, right up until it died on them.

Got my turkey injector yesterday that I plan on using for juices. I think the knurling ring is suppose to come off to slip on the injector (I call needles) first. But it is very stuck. Oh these shots were taking with my new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) cellphone. It is suppose to have a so-so camera, but I think it does pretty good. It has a macro setting, but I didn't try it.

My Hotcig DX200 red battery arrived two days ago and I still haven't opened the package yet. Boy it went from NH to WI overnight, that was super fast.

I just got done opening up one of my DX200 batteries, the Hot Fire variety, thinking to put a Fullymax 900 in my VT133.
Reason: going to have to put in a new board and that battery board looks to make the job complicated. It's those pins for the balance tap that scares me. If I mess it up then I'll go with the Lipo.

Where did you get a DX200 pack with a HotFire lipo? There were only supposed to be in DX200 v1 packs.
FT, I got one of the few $25 ones. The one that came in mine was balanced/healthy too. (V1)

A few months ago I picked up a couple meat injectors at my local wal-mart, they were $3 each. Came with two of the same needle's but the syringe was plain. I bought them for use in the garage, they work great for sucking out fluids, I ground the point off to make them blunt. I had some IV tubing kicking around, I cut a six inch piece and slipped it over the needle. I used one a few weeks ago when rebuilding the front and rear master cylinders on my son in laws bike, worked great to draw the old fluid out and keep the fluid off his new paint job.

He had quite a scare, he was booking down the highway and out of the blue the front wheel locked up, somehow he kept control and no one behind him ran him over. After we got the bike back here I found the front master cylinder had old fluid, corrosion and crud had built up over the tiny fluid return hole inside the cylinder, that keep the pads against the rotor after he released the brake lever. Heat built up until things expanded to the point the just brakes locked up. I asked him, "wasn't it feeling sluggish, like you were loosing power?", he said "yeah it was but I didn't think it meant my brakes would lock up!" He's a lucky boy, could have been bad.

Oh I don't think that knurling unscrews off of there. I think that is just one piece. The injector just kind of screws in there by the four corners of the injector inside of the knurling. And if it looks kinda crooked, it probably is. Also I thought those injectors were two different styles. They are not. They have slots cut on each side. Hmm... I wonder if my pipe cutter can cut it above the slots? As SS is a bit tough. Hey the outside diameter of those injectors are 3mm.
