I need some help. I'm having the strangest problem, I'm trying to build an SX350j V2 mod.
It's a dual 18650 3D printed mod. I know most here are more Evolv oriented, but I know a lot of smart people read this thread.
If I put the mod together & try to fire it, it don't fire :( the chip appears to be working fine.
It turns on, it goes through the menus every thing appears fine, even if I fire the button it looks like it's firing, If I hold both up & down it reads the resistance correctly
If I take the chip out of the enclosure & just solder a battery sled & 510 to it, it works.
I put a meter on the 510 & it's only reading 2.5 volts when firing, if I hold the fire button the voltage goes down, on the battery sled, in the mod I'm getting 8.4 volts.
I tried 2 different chips they both do the same thing, work fine out of the enclosure, don't fire in it.
What could be going wrong?
Any suggestions /help is appreciated :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
Double check the solder joint at the 510. It could conduct enough to read resistance, but when current hits it, it's just not good enough to perform. That assumes you didn't test out of the enclosure using the 510 in the enclosure.

Thanks awsum140 :) I just loosened the board mounting screws & it's firing :) Maybe it was squeezing the board to tight?
I worked on this all day last Saturday & couldn't get it, I'm happy as Heck it's firing now :)

Here it is beside a dual 18650 DNA133 :)
BTW I got the chip for 55$ :)
