I'm making 4 cups today, you never know when someone "special" will show up.
YesNow I have a question on my mind but can't say for sure that the answer can be made now.
Does the DNA75 have reverse battery protection built into the board?
steamer, you're being nosey!![]()
I guessJust wanted to know if it was from the horses mouth or just hear say LOL
It was what they said, but just for you I tried it just now and it does have RBP.Did you actually try it? Or is that what they have said?
Takes a brave person to actually test that featureIt was what they said, but just for you I tried it just now and it does have RBP.
Hahaha... I used to service electron microscopes and one of our engineers wrote up a series of tests which we would follow for a preventive maintenance schedule (like a check list). Checking varies things to make sure everything were running within specs. And some of the checks was to short the outputs of a number of DC outputs from the power supply. This was to check the fail safe circuits in case of an overload and the supply was suppose to just shutdown safely and no harm done and just reset itself after a power cycle.Takes a brave person to actually test that feature
I tested it in my rDNA40 when the feature was first announced. There were some on the VS thread wondering if it had it because of the daughterboard. I tested it and it worked. Some thought I was nuts but I have faith in VS and Evolv so I wasn't too worried.Testing fate can be very exhilarating!
