I used that function often to get SS to work properly before Steamengine got the tfr curve right AND I stopped using crappy China wire. BTW, entering a tcr value too far off from actual wigs out the board and causes it to pulse.

Entering the correct atty res (.15ohm higher res than the 75C reads) as a work around could work but forces me to test the atty res on another mod before using it on the 75C.

Then there's the fact that the 75C does not read room temp accurately all the time. Sometimes it does, sometimes doesn't, even after letting it sit for hours.

It's too much for me to deal with at the moment when I have eight other DNAs to use. I'll patient Mike, I promise..........until I'm not

Its temco, unkamen and zivipf for all my resistor wire. All very high quality and reasonably accurate tcr values.
Never tried Unkamen, but I would add Zivipf to the list for anything I couldnt find at Temco. I got my SS430 from Zivipf. Temco is just sooooo much faster delivery.

For Sure!
I was going to try the "swivel method" Ohm Boy Josh made it look so easy :)
What I like about the jig is, I can make short pieces with the opposite end just left open.
I can straighten my 2 inner cores separate then just put them in the drill chuck together :)
I make about 12" pieces so if it don't turn out well I didn't waste to much wire :)
If it does work well, I have enough for 2 nice coils :)
I broke down and bought the Avidartisan Daedalus (jig only) for $26. Didnt figure I needed their cheap drill motor.

I am sure I could have cobbled one together myself, but for $26 it wasnt worth the hour it would take me to rummage through all my crap to find the parts.

Sweet deal! I would have bought premade for that price to :)
15.50 to ship it to Canada :( How much shipping for you? Free!
I think you will like how it works, I watch it go & think it's like Magic :)
There are some disadvantages to being Canadian :( Temco don't ship here direct.
I have to buy their wire from an eBay seller + big shipping cost :(
Some times I just need to get creative :) At least I'm stocked up for life with wire :)

I buy so much vaping stuff it would wear down any friendship!
Thats the great thing about FT for me, Sure I have to wait 2 weeks but shipping is cheep!
I wouldn't mind paying American shipping rates, but 20$ shipping for a 5$ spool of wire!

You do buy a lot of gear.

The shipping rates from Canada to the US are terrible too. I bought some Italian SuperSoft squonk bottles from wicksandwires, 3 bottles cost $25.50....shipping was $20.00.:-x

Still, the TFR ranges that I already have *should* be more accurate for the materials I use. I think when I tried to use that setting before it wouldn't fully apply to the graph.

It does work Kiba but in escribe when you type in a TCR value you have to save the material profile (.csv) otherwise when you go back to the graph the default tcr value will show up again instead of your newly typed tcr value.

So I have to ask you guys who use stainless, I ran low on ni200 so I've been using stainless for one atty on the new 60 and ni200 on my 200. I have to run the stainless 30 deg higher to get the same vape, is that normal?

ETA: I should have mentioned, I used the same build with the stainless I use all the time with the ni200

Wicks&Wires! That place is so expensive All I can do is window shop there!
I went to one of their B&M locations, For Canada they have the cutting edge stuff :)
But wow if you want to spend 2 thousand on one set up they will accommodate!

I bought 4 Super Soft bottles here in the Classifieds 20$ + 5$ shipping :)
Nice bottles :) I find the hose is a bit thin, I had one rip & leak all over the inside of my mod :(
I drilled out the caps & used the hose Tibs sent way back in the Co-Op, much better quality & no more leaks :)

316L SS from Temco and the TFR curve (.csv) from SE play nice together. 30°f is nothing to worry about, changing juices or different attys can cause me to turn up or down 30° (even with the same build). I just make sure that when my atty runs dry I get ZERO off flavor with my set temp, all I perceive is a reduction in vapor output.
