How'd you make out with the AC, Mike? It's really humid here and there is absolutely no wind. When I walked Leo, earlier, the vapor just hung in the air in a cloud for a really long time.

Part came in yesterday, fixed it last night. Took a few hours to get the house cooled back down but slept like a baby last night!
.Mostly the old-timers who've been there forever, right?you'd be amazed how many are still lacking ac around here
There's a local hardware store here in FL, same deal. Family-owned, been here as long as anyone can remember. No AC in the store, nor does the family have AC at home either. Great people though.
I can't imagine life without ac, we've got a bass boat & when I go out on the river, feels like my brains turned to mush after a couple of hours of really hot.
Also, for myself, low blood sugar plus 100+ degrees heat is a really bad combination.

I can't stand AC! I will only use it if I have to
I have AC every were Trucks, Equipment, House, just don't like it.
If it gets really hot, I turn the AC on from about 1 in the Afternoon til 11 at night.
At work I open my window & have it blowing in the back ground.
I got the worst cold of my life from AC ears all infected it was a night mare!
I guess I'm more used to the Cold! Canada EH!

Last year was hot as heck here! We had at least 40 day above 40 degrees Celsius.
It made me realize when it's that hot, it mite as well be winter, cause all out door activity is horribly uncomfortable. In winter you can dress for it! When it's hot as heck outside your screwed
