I started using tc bc I had to, I'm super ADD, and I know there's others out there like me that would benefit from it like I did. I mean I'd probably be fine the first couple of times if I was paying attention, but eventually I'd just let it go dry as a bone and never even look till I got that burnt hit... I also take really long hits which I'm sure doesn't help while it's just continue to ramp up.

Every day I'd have to change my wick or it'd just be all black, cotton would literally not be possible. It doesn't seem like I can be the only one like that. When I started cotton wasn't being used yet, but I'd def. be put off by that... although, we dealt with far worse and I still stuck with it.

Wow, you just made me feel better! I rebuild every other day and when I do the coil is starting to get encrusted. I really thought I was the only one, I hear people talk about going weeks or long on a build. I rebuild as soon as it's cruddy because there is hint's it could start to be on the harmful side once the crud starts and I want to make my vape as safe as it can possibly be. I'm also spoiled, there nothing like vaping on a fresh build! But I must confess, I do chain vape and I know that's a contributing cause of the short life.

why would a press fitted peices cause bad TC? Recently I've had 2 atomizers that would not work right in TC but they both had press fitted bases.

A connection is a connection right? but on both atty's the internal resistance was high (for an atty) and it kept jumping around.

That's part of the reason why I use the atty I do, on the squonk atty I use for some reason it gunks up a lot slower, like last time I went almost a month and there was still very little gunk & juice wasnt even starting to discolor.

I also have atty's that gunk up after a day and turn the juice dark brown so I guess it's a crap shoot.

The DNA board is very sensitive to bad connections! the slightest little inconsistency can & will cause resistance problems.
I have a Pharaoh RTA, it has a press fit threading section in the base. One day at work it came loose, I pressed it back in all was good. A while later, my resistance starts to jump around!
I pulled it apart at the press fit threads, tried scoring it to make it fit tighter to eliminate my resistance problem. It didn't work! I tried JB welding the threads in, it worked, well kind of.
The resistance now stable has went up from .13 to .143 also it welded my JFC solid :(
I have a second Pharaoh that works fine for now! I ended up ordering a new second one to replace the JB welded one.
I wish Steam Crave would make a " Big Single Coil Deck" like the Pharaoh has,For the Supreme!
I have never had any problems with resistance changing on my Supremes :)

You made me look, Steamer. Deet, up to 30%, is legal in Canada. Canada Health has banned concentrations higher than that, but I haven't seen anything that explains why they reached that conclusion. There can be side effects from using deet but being a carcinogen doesn't seem to be one of them. More along the lines of temporary disorientation and other "minor" problems like a rash. Of course, you don't want to ingest it or get it in your eyes.

You mean you don't have ticks, mosquitos or flies that bite? Amazing!

When I rode up to Lab City, I had a small 1oz bottle of Repel 100% deet in my luggage. Never even thought it was contraband. Deet is a neurotoxin so probably not a good thing to use daily.

This Natural Mosquito Repellent Works Better Than Deet
"Best in show were Sawyer Fisherman’s Formula, which held mosquitoes and ticks at bay for eight hours, and Repel Lemon Eucalyptus, which protected against ticks for eight hours and mosquitoes for seven hours."

Most of the newer articles state lemon eucalyptus is better than deet but older ones (5+ yrs old) say it's not as good. I tend to attract mosquitoes so I need repellent when I'm in the woods. The bottle states it's good for up to 6 hrs but the article above states 7-8 hrs.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Deet may be a neurotoxin but it isn't absorbed by the skin, from what I have read. It is suggested not to apply it sooner than a half hour after applying sun block because that can enhance absorption, but multiple studies, some of which included in depth studies with pregnant women, showed no harmful effects from daily usage of deet.

The Supreme v2 can use the Supreme v1 single coil deck (post less) btw how are the threads press fitted on?

I'm looking for a single coil deck for the Supreme that looks some thing like this.

This is what happened to the Pharaoh :(
You can see how the threads started to separate from the base section.

Oh I see it now, the deck I'm talking about looks just like the one on the plus except smaller, it's made for dual coil but imo in that size it works best with single. In a way it might be a bit better since you are getting air hitting the coil from both sides.

I tried the "Big Clapton coil" on the postless deck, on the Supreme 25mm & The +.
I didn't get the results I was looking for :( I find the Pharaoh style deck works best for that kind of coil.
It's very doable for the Supreme & the +, just need Air holes thru the side, like the Wasp/Gorge/Hadley RDA :)

My second DNA75 died today. Same thing as the first, the "Too Hot" error. At least this one gave some warning that something wasn't right when it started killing 1/2 charged batteries overnight. A couple of days later the "too hot" error started showing up every so often when the mod didn't feel hot at all. Then all of a sudden the board got VERY hot so I removed the battery and filled out a trouble ticket with Evolve. Sad, I'll miss my Therion S-Q-U-O-N-K-E-R:D until the replacement arrives.
ETA: On second thought, squonking is so much better than tank vaping maybe I'll just rob a board out of one of my other 75 mods.:p
