My second DNA75 died today. Same thing as the first, the "Too Hot" error. At least this one gave some warning that something wasn't right when it started killing 1/2 charged batteries overnight. A couple of days later the "too hot" error started showing up every so often when the mod didn't feel hot at all. Then all of a sudden the board got VERY hot so I removed the battery and filled out a trouble ticket with Evolve. Sad, I'll miss my Therion S-Q-U-O-N-K-E-R:D until the replacement arrives.
ETA: On second thought, squonking is so much better than tank vaping maybe I'll just rob a board out of one of my other 75 mods.:p
I felt sorry for you ....... at first!
Your edit made me laugh, and might explain your root cause......

Just throw a simple MOSFET in there temporarily and pretend it's a mech. ;)

This is an interesting solution called a switchfet.

Switchfet V2

Looks like we lost one to the "Dark Side"
Next thing you know, it's Mec Mods only! Then a mortgage on your house & a 2 year+ waiting list!

:lol::lol:.....Well that's not going to happen for sure, mech mods limit my selection of material types and coil size. Oh, and then there's the voltage drop as the battery depletes which I can't tolerate anymore. Once I went to DNAs it's hard to imagine using an unregulated mod.

Finally got my Therion 75c today. I got the silver frame with carbon fiber inserts and black textured battery cover. Threw in a couple of LG HG2's and it works great. The board came with no programming (stock Evolv build). It's wider than I'd like but not too bad. I guess I could get used to it. It's really well made and hefty. I'm happy with it.

Got my ePetite today...yesterday the Ebony panels arrived (i couldnt get a silver with wood panels from anywhere, theyre getting scarce, had to make do with silver/black carbon fibre and order some Ebony panels from vapegeek.co.uk...AUD$44 later...)

Changed the internal resistance from 0.003 to 0.011 as per DJLSB's test info and all workies. Of course being me and hating preheat, thats the 2nd thing i changed...to off.

Little shorter, deeper, same width as my beloved TreeBox

All was good, when i attached the wood...
