...until they try a correctly setup TC system.

Stepson had trouble quitting, he set it aside for many months.
In June he hit my DNA200 Rolo/AromamizerV2/Trinity tank and said "I want that. Get one for me." I got him a DNA Rolo/modshield/batteries and one of my V2/Trinity tanks. He already had a Crown tank.
I tried to get the .25Ω SS Crown coils working in TC but there's no correct TCR since they use ni200 legs. He drops in on Fridays for a rewick & my DIY and it gives me an excuse to watch Adventure Time with his mini-me's
His cost was about $130
Not a puff since I hooked him up 7/9
He's broken even on cost and vapes relatively safe TC at 42W/440
TC was the difference. He didn't like the heat without it.
I've had the exact same thing happen, twice. I ended up putting ArcticFox on a couple of freinds joyetech mods, they thought they wanted it but it caused nothing but confusion lol.

imo it's just a bit too much for the average person to wrap their head around. They got on much better with the stock firmware.

He's pretty clever overall.
He loaded Escribe on his puter and tried different settings etc.
That surprised me.

Yeah, that's rare. Most people you at least have to ease them into it.

He's not even very techy. I showed him how to use it and ran through the features on my computer but I didn't even expect he'd try it on his own. Sharper than average.

When I was about 7 or 8, my parents bought a portable cassette tape player (Panasonic). They went out one day and I took it completely apart on the living room floor, all neatly laid out piece by piece. When they came home, my dad looked at what I did and just went to his bedroom. I had it back together by that evening and no spare parts :).

I use Deet, nothing like the smell of deet first thing in the morning. The mosquitos around here will bleed you dry in about a minute. The there's the flies. Now the weather alert is going off every few minutes with severe thunderstorm warnings. All the joys of summer.

I just picked up some Repel Lemon Eucalyptus bug repelent. Supposed to be almost as good as 100% Deet but natural. I haven't tried it yet. Skin So Soft by Avon works well too.

On a gun related note, PSA had a sale on 50 cal ammo cans. 12 for $90 shipped. I could only fill 6 cans so I ordered some more 5.56 ammo. Federal (American Eagle and Independence) has a 5¢/rd rebate on all their Lake City or Anoka manufactured ammo. 25¢/rd for brass ammo is as cheap as I've ever seen. $300 shipped for 1000 rds and $50 rebate.

Let me know how that Repel works, I don't like using pure deet but it's the only thing that will keep the ticks off you around here, I rather roll the dice with deet once in a while then live with lyme disease.

I've got tons of ammo cans, most of them filled with ammo, more then I need but they are handy for other things too. Prices on guns and ammo is come way down, what a difference an administration who believes in upholding ALL parts of the Constitution can make! Did you hear about this? Finally! BREAKING: House Passes Bill MANDATING Transfer of ALL US Army M1911 Handguns to the CMP - The Firearm Blog Note it says ALL 1911's!

At my work which is in Coronado Ca next to a park on the bay directly across from downtown San Diego I run into a few vapers. Rarely do I find anyone using an Evolv powered mod or even know what a DNA board is. Also most are using regulated TC box mods but never with TC. Just saying............

On one hand I love it when peeps buy a dna mod and realize it's too complicated for them cuz I've been picking them up for $45-$70 in like-new condition. On the other hand I'm sad that they are missing out on the great flavor and safety while vaping.

When my mom was finishing her masters, she got tired of trying to use the various computers myself and my step-dad had built, which all had various small issues and we were always changing stuff or they were scrapped for spares when something new came out, etc. She decided to go buy her own computer at circuit city and came home with this awful Toshiba that was like, trying to be 1995 trendy. It was very slow, and had basically no storage so I was planning to upgrade her ram for her as well add some hard drives before she came home that night, but once I had the case door off, I was just fascinated by all the corners they cut and just wanted to see more.

Anyways when she got home I guess I was sitting in a pile of components and I had somehow separated the cpu from it's cooling assembly.... the days when taking things apart is entertaining for several hours, lol.

Btw what does that spray smell like & what bugs does it work on? I need one for fishing, but the one I use smells nasty so I only use it if I really have to.

They're all I even use but I've never seen someone out there even using one, compared to something like the fuchsia or whatever 213 which is what I see just about every other vapers holding, they don't seem to be very popular.

I'm all most getting there myself! My phone does way too many things on it's own, pisses me off!
Seems every time I need it to be a phone it's doing some thing I didn't ask it to :(
The new 75c was a bit over whelming the first time I hooked it up to E-Scribe.
I'm not new to E-Scribe, but if I was I could all most see why people would say, I just want to vape! whats all this Sh@t!!!! Some times less is More!

Sitting down, facing forward.
In another forum I belong to, a lot of the folks have "this box" or "that mini" TC mods and are constantly buying more of them. The funny thing is that those who have a DNA mod all say the same thing...it's the best, smoothest, consistent, TC vape available.

I converted my wife, a tootler, from VW to TC on DNA equipment. Yeah, I build the atomizes and setup the mods but she has come to really appreciate how well they control things. Shell take two, back to back, hits at a time. With VW that second hit was usually a little "over the top", with the DNA controlling temperature, no problem at all.

That about sums it up! After suffering thru a few massive burnt Hits.
I knew TC was the way to go!

Isn't deet a carcinogen? I think it's banned in Canada?
I don't use bug juice, it makes my lips purple! I would rather put up with the bugs :)

You made me look, Steamer. Deet, up to 30%, is legal in Canada. Canada Health has banned concentrations higher than that, but I haven't seen anything that explains why they reached that conclusion. There can be side effects from using deet but being a carcinogen doesn't seem to be one of them. More along the lines of temporary disorientation and other "minor" problems like a rash. Of course, you don't want to ingest it or get it in your eyes.

You mean you don't have ticks, mosquitos or flies that bite? Amazing!

Oh we have bugs! In the spring we get "Black Flies" some times lots depending on how wet it is.
Later in summer we have dear flies big ugly mothers that bite hard!
Just like the cold you get used to them :)
I wear long sleeves light colours & other bug avoidance techniques :)
I had a client bring me some 100% deet bug juice he got in UK.
I would spray it on a rag & hang it in my window, Wouldn't put it on me directly :(
People up here ware these bug jackets in the spring when the black flies are bad.
