Good morning all! You all had a better dinner than mine. I was a boring Balsamic vinegar grilled chicken breast.

If anyone is in Texas, my best wishes for your safety. Hopefully you have power as I wouldn't run your phone battery just to hang in the forum. OK, yes I would, but really do as I say not as I've done. It took over 2 weeks to get my power back after hurricane Sandy up here, of course I used my phone. Then again, I was still smoking back then and even with no power, the 7 11 always stayed open and kept their cigarette inventory well stocked. Don't know how, but it was a damn good thing.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I'm just coming down from a nicotine high. I built an Aromamizer V2 for my wife with 28 gauge, twisted, SS430 and loaded it with some Cigarillos. It was hitting wayyyy toooooo hard. So I tore it down and used single 28 gauge SS430, wet the new wicks and had a go. I was watching in Escribe and it took a little time to get the power/temperature right. The original setting of 440F/20W has turned in to 350F/15W. Now it's useable and nice but man, my head was spinning from repeated HARD hits. Tough job, but somebody has to do it.

The problem with having a bunch of attys is that when one goes sour I have a tendency to throw it in the "dirty Pile" and just grab another atty. Today I got down to only 2 attys in working condition, been spending most of the day cleaning, looks like tonight will be spent coiling.

This is the third batch today that I have run through the ultrasonic!

Thanks to all for suggestions on beater mech squonkers. Found a used Frankenskull for $10 and mounted up a Peerless RDA. YUM YUM with a pair of 3mm 26/36 SS 4 wrap Fused Claptons.
The electricals in this mod couldn't be more simple, no wires and no current flowing through the fire button. Hated the factory bottle so I'm using an Italian Super Soft bottle.

The good news is you can go a long time between servicing :)

How does that even work on a single 18650? I can't get any battery life, even with one fused Clapton on a single 18650 :( On all my single 18650 mods I went back to simple round wire.

The Sony VTC5 and VTC5A batts I use will drain the entire contents of the 8.5ml bottle with the .10 ohm build. < shrug >
When I put the batts back on the charger they read 3.4-3.6v.

That positive bus bar appears to be made of spring steel, it's pretty strong.

I save old feeler gauges for thing like that, they aren't true spring steel but they do hold shape well and would work good for that. Plus you pick the thickness gauge from the set that will work for the job.

Anyone ever venture into making their own stain glass windows? This old house has a sun window above the front door, the width of the door and about 18 inches high. I'd like to have it stain glass with the house number in a oval in the center, the rest a simple design, then I'll back light it for night.

Now that we had the house painted, I want to add a pair of vintage style lights, one each side of the door, I think with the lit stain glassed number at the top it will look really nice.

Also, one of these lit flag poles is going up tomorrow, 20 footer with a 5 foot flag, my yard is already four feet higher then street level. I picked two 360 lumen LED spotlights going right next to the pole at the base shooting straight up, one on each side, it should give a nice effect.

All my neighbors have house flags that they leave out 24/7 but none of the light them, I always put mine up in the morning and take it down at dusk. The Wilson's are upgrading, going to show them how to properly display a flag at night. From time to time during bad weather I won't leave it out at night and instead have reveille raising's at daybreak and play taps at dusk while lowering, loudly. ;)
