Tibs (this is for real), do you happen to remember where Baps Build Guide was for the Tibs2 co-op?

One version was here:
https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/f...ntacts-and-screws-co-op.570424/#post-13363145

But Photosuckit has ruined it, (may they rest in peace soon).

Didnt a pdf get done at one point?

a miracle! bap's step-by-step instructions/tutorial complete with pics are still available in the old co-op thread!

at least they are showing for me :?:

It's still at on google here: (as I recall there were 2 versions). Don't know which one is current or maybe both.

Sitting down, facing forward.
To put it in more basic terms, if enough people, that use the same service provider as you, are talking on their phones the service provider runs out of connections to make calls. Text can fit in between words of a conversation, even the conversations of other people, so it will still work under those conditions but it may get slower than normal. WiFi can help, but if your internet is down and the cell towers are down, you're out of luck. Fortunately, cell towers are pretty robust, both in terms of being able to withstand high winds and having lots of backup power sources available.

Irma's latest forecasts show the eye wall making landfall in Tampa at a projected Cat 4 strength. The projected storm surge is 6-8 ft so I hope you're at least that far above sea level @classwife.
fingers crossed - wind speeds have decreased to 130mph - barely a category 4 now!

STrange, thats the same link I put in my earlier post, last night 3/4 of the photos were gone.
Thanks you, and thank the stars!

I decided to make it a 18650 mod after all, and I remembered he had some neat little tricks concerning the bat cradle.

Anyone here remember the weakness of those old Fat Daddy 510s?

Wasnt it the threads striping on the nylon bushing when you screwed the center pin in?

I am wanting to add a little more compression in the spring area (maybe a washer or two), and maybe a drop of CA to keep the threads from blowing out.

Or.... I might just use an Evolv 510, it would sit proud on top of the mod as I dont have the tooling to accurately countersink it plus I dont think the enclosure is thick enough for to countersink it level anyway, but a dry run it didnt look bad.

I realize you may loose the ability to post here for a while but please, if there is any way possible to connect through others and have them let us know your all OK we would be eager to hear your all.
Not in the least ot take away from our concerns for Classy's safety, and I mean that, but........
We might get away with some good ole NY style cheesecake with our coffee. :D (JK)

I have seen some posts that if you can't use your cell phone that you can still text ??
How is that ?
If the cell towers are still functional, they "could" still transmit SMS data even though the VOIP part is down or overloaded.
