Warning!! Firearm related, if your not into it skip reading the rest!

Wow, this is scary! I can't believe there is any question whether or not this was intentional, of course it was. Someone milled or drilled that hole and put the cartridge in there so it would fire and straight back at the face of whoever was shooting it. Some real nuts out there.

You Be The Judge: A Potentially Booby-trapped Shotgun Reported to Law Enforcement - The Firearm Blog
That reminded me of a situation way back when my friend's house got broken into. A double barrel shotgun was stolen, it was defective, the one side would fire as soon as you closed it.

Hanna mod Clone, DNA60 Ijoy 20700 :)
I used this sled from SW, fit perfect. SwedishVaper SnapSled 20700 (with wire channels) by jnicklasson on Shapeways
I used battery contacts like this, https://www.digikey.ca/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&itemSeq=239730553&uq=636424417563716484

You couldn't have asked for an easier conversion, the contacts just slide on :)
It will work on the Silo 950 also :) I plan to do both of mine in the near future.

I see you upgraded the 510 too, smart move, what 510 did you use? Let us know what kind of run time you get with that battery.

ETA: Now that I've re-purposed two of those hana clones, I wish I had bought more of them when they were cheap! They make for a nice little mod once you upgrade them and it's not that hard.

The 510 is the old FD, it's been in there from the beginning:) A VT would have been better,( sit Flush) but back in the day of this mod it wasn't popular yet. It is also threaded right into the case, good solid ground :)
As of now I use a whole tank in the Skyline & still showing more than half life on the battery gauge.
I have little experience in single mod with the 20700, but in dual mod the life is excellent :)
I'm a DNA60 fan boy! best evolv chip since the 200! :)

Here's a couple tips that may help Mike, depending on what your's are like. On mine the width of the screen opening was the right size for the large screen but it was too short. I used a piece of plastic off one of those impossible to open clam shell packages so much stuff comes in these day to make a template of the opening then just slid it down to the correct lenght and scribed an outline. I used a safe edge file to cut the sides, I was able to lay the file on the existing flat of the opening and just file a groove to the correct length, then used a half round file for the radius. Luckly this one was black so I just brushed some black paint on the bare metal.(Click on the thumbnail pics to view full size)

In one of mine there was oval cutouts where the screen set that was causing me trouble mounting the screen, I used good old auto body bondo to fill them in and make it flat.

Don't have of pic of this last tip but can get one if needed, one of the clones had a ground screw to the case and the other didn't so I made one. I was replacing the 510 by driving the insert out then tapping for the new 510 which would sit in the recess on the on the case. BTW, on mine the hole where the insert was happen to be just the size I needed for tapping so I didn't have to drill it out. Not having a lot of good options on where to drill and tap the ground screw I decided to drill one next to the new threaded hole for the 510, I drilled from the top all the way through to the inside then tapped it from the outside. I put it so it would be very close to the lip on the inside (as marked in the pic) so with a long skinny screwdriver, longer then the mod, I'd be able to tighten the screw at a slight angle. I used a torx head screw which made it easier to tighten, it was a small screw from my salvaged screw jar which came from an old hard drive I stripped down for the magnets. Once the new 510 is in place it covers the hole I drilled and tapped.

I used one of these DNA40 Adjustable Combo Cradle by sanjosse on Shapeways

The USB is bigger now & I had to use glue to hold it in but the chip holder is great! :)

I like hot glue, it holds well, easy to work with and easy to remove with a few drops of rubbing alcohol. Not something I'd use when building a mod for someone else but for my own, hell yes. I wouldn't bother with buying a sled, just use hot glue.

After fixing the warped body of the usb port I put in the ZNA I filled in the gaps with hot glue leaving it above the surface then cut it off flush with a new x-acto blade, filled in nicely and doesn't look all that bad. I first wrapped the connector with tape so the glue could seep in past the gaps of the outer body, I also filed in the hole on the inside where the wires came through, it's holding it nice and tight and I'll be able to remove it if it needs servicing down the road. I was going to use JB Weld but it would be a bugger to remove, hot glue was a good solution.
