I saw that one some tome ago. Didn’t put much thought into getting it though. I’m thinking it would take forever to do a batch, then be a PITA to clean. Seems also, that the chaff would cause issues as well.

Have you tried a modded popcorn blower?

No, but I do have a bread maker from Goodwill that I took out the heating element, insulated the basket. Used my heat gun from the top as the machine stirred the beans. Used a probe to monitor the from the bottom.
Worked well, but in my opinion the flavor just wasn’t as rich as the nut roasting pan. Just seems, to me anyway, that heating through convection only isn’t as good as conduction, at least as far as coffee goes.

So a question for some one who knows more about DNA75's than me :)
I'm running 2 of my 75's on the Sanyo 20700b 16 amps, now I'm getting the battery icon flashing after the % falls below 50% :( I connected to E-Scribe & am drawing way less than 16 amps, even with the battery below 50% charge. So why is the battery icon flashing when the battery is below 50% charge?
The battery life is excellent & it works well, down to a lower % were I would typically charge them, I'm just wondering why the battery Icon flashes?

Sitting down, facing forward.
How about max peak and sustained input current, and I'm guessing you have it selected as an 18650. What power level are you running?

I just checked two different DNA75s, one with an HD2 and one with an HG. Both are at about 50% and neither gives any warnings. Current was about 6.5 amps on the HG and less on the HD2.

I've only had the problem you describe when using batteries that can't sustain at least 20 amps cdc. As long as your set wattage is being produced I'd just ignore it.

There has been a good amount of discussion on a certain manufacturers forum about the battery contacts not being up to the job of conducting necessary amperage to supply the 75 board. When voltage under load dips below Cell Soft Cutoff setting error displays (flashing icon), you might want to set SCC to 2.65 volts as well.
The style of contacts in pictured sled seem to be the most problem.

Could try tinning those, coat them with a thin layer of solder, not much to loose if they are giving you a problem. Scuff them up with fine paper, clean and flux em. I'd use the hardest solder you can get your hands on so it will last loner, especially if your changing battery's often, if your leaving them in the mod and charging via the board then softer solder should be OK. Just a thought.

ETA: I'd also give them a slight bend outwards to put more pressure on the contacts.
