0 degrees in Indiana? I grew up in Fort Rain and maybe there was a few times it reached that low with a wind chill but the beans would cool fast if you just took them out and air cooled them at that temp...no?

Indiana winters are cold. I’ve already put my grill up. We had snow already this week. 0 is not common all winter, but from mid December through February. It is below freezing. Maybe I’m a lightweight, but I don’t like to stand in one place when it’s that cold.
You are correct, cooling would be easy in the winter, but could also damage the grill.
