Sitting down, facing forward.
After two years and two weeks, with 135 charge cycles, I replaced the battery in my ERM+. It's on the charger, right now, so it'll be ready tonight when my 1590G needs another charge. I should replace the battery in that one, too. It's older and has a lot more charge cycles on it.

Still waiting on the Aegis from EFun-Top, which should be "NoFun-Bottom" at this rate.

:( but if i remember that stretch of road right it could have been an accident
Its a bad stretch, hence the Lovers Leap nickname. However the cops seem sure, and it fits other facts. It sucks , my last contact with him was reprimanding him......

Sent from phone, please excuse fat thumbs and autocorrect.

Sorry to hear about that but don't blame yourself for any part of it. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do; if he needed reprimanding so be it. Point is, he took his life, not you. (((Mike)))

I’m with cig & classy.
It always bothers me when someone takes their own life. I don’t think they are aware of the pain it puts others through. I lost my little brother to an H Overdose 20 years ago. I viewed that as taking his own life. He was well aware of what he was getting into.
Anyway, I am sorry that your last contact with him was that way, but even if it was giving him a raise he still would have done it.
My last contact with my bro. Who was my best friend at the time was trying to talk him into ditching the Phish tour & starting the new job he had lined up for the fall early. He told me he was going to finish the tour. Well, he did. Then OD’d the night of the last show.

What would be a normal range in resistance for a 316L .67 ohm coil, like how high would you expect it to go up? And does anyone have a good csv for 316L they like to use?

Can't get it to work well on an Aromamizer Supreme v2/single coil deck.

The resistance factor for 316L SS is approx 1.18 @ 425°f so a coil that reads .67 ohms at room temp would increase in res to approx .79 ohms at 425°f.
316L SS has a very low resistance factor as compared to other TC wire types so to get it to work all of your connections need to be clean and tight. The slightest change in res through the atty or mod connections will throw off the temp. Cheap "chinesium" stainless can also affect temp settings.
Steamengine.org has csv files for all types of tc wire. The one for 316L works great for high quality wire.

Okay mine is definitely in that range... actually exactly that. Any guess as to why it's performing like crap after the resistance settles in, like an hour after I first do a build?

Another question, how to lock resistance on a DNA 250? of course I'll avoid if possible but just in case I have to.

I'm using youde premade clapton which has worked for me in the past and a 316L elite CSV from steam engine. Also never had a problem with Aromamizers before. In fact they're better than all the high-end atties I've ever bought. My girlfriend has a plus that she uses all the time with the same wire in dual coil mode though.

If the 250 is like the 200 and 75 hold the fire button and + button simultaneously to lock and unlock res.
Try tightening down your grub screws just to be sure that thermal expansion/contraction hasn't loosened the coil legs. Could also be there's a faint hot spot on the coil.
You didn't say exactly what the symptom(s) are so I'm just guessing.

My bad, just weak hits. After I build it, it hits fine for a bit, but after the resistance settles in it goes all anemic. It's spaced but I always pulse to check for hot spots anyway, & the resistance is exactly what you said... I actually did try cranking down the screws as hard as I could but it didn't seem to help.

Could it be that I'm trying to use a single coil, or not enough coil? Never tried single coil with 316L before & I think I remember in the early days of SS being used that people were saying you need duals or more coil mass.

3.5mm, tried with cotton bacon & rayon... Idk I ran out of my usual favorite which is pads (muji or kgd), maybe it's a wicking problem but the coil looks pretty damn wet... Anybody use this setup and can tell me how to trim the wicks?

My screws are black though.
