Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

    I'm a little disappointed with ....
All the darn branding on the panels
No one went with a lipo, maybe shipping hassles with fixed battery?
I think that and the fact that if they don't sell out, and just sit and sit and sit, slowly over time the Lipo's might drop too low from their shipping voltage.

I'm pretty happy with my LiPo mods

Any thoughts/ideas on the least hassle way to become a 'verified member'? I just read the post that said how, but it's mainly from 2012.

It's still the same procedure :)

If I recall correctly? We had this Lipo discussion here once.
Apparently the lipo is in some suspended state of chemical composion till it's charged fully?
This increases it's shelf life. Maybe Mike can chime in & Verify/Clarify?
Shipping Lipo batteries, here to Canada from the States is Ground ship only :(
I got a set out of the States for a build, just recently.
Out of China, I'm not sure But from FT there are no options to Ship to Canada for any battery let alone a lipo.

This mite give the DIY Mod builders that little Boost We need :)

So I'm doing the painting & the edges seem fine, I got a really nice wooster brush that I can get in nice & close then cover most of the brush strokes up with the roller, I didn't have to use tape just a 6in1 for edges... The problem I'm having is with the open spaces, making it all look even when I'm using the roller, so far I've only put on the one coat after doing the cutting/edges but it looks all uneven...

Idk maybe I'm not slopping on enough paint, I actually used one of these things (I bent it to go inside the Wooster bucket) to slough as much paint as possible off

^should I not be using that, how much paint do you I want on the roller & how much do I leave on the wall without trying to spread it out?

I can't see a reason to use one of those grates, I use the upper ridge section of that paint bucket in your photo to wet the roller. Trying to convey how wet to leave a coat in a post is kind of hard, I'm going to leave it to the guys who paint for a living to give the best advice. I learned by trail and error over many years, the way I do it works well but I bet it's not the way guy who paint for a living do it.

Well I spent my first day in the shop in warmer weather with the door open, seemed nice at first. The son in law needed the rear wheel bearing hubs replaced on his 2013 Ford Flex, all was going well until I discovered Ford used an aluminum knuckle.... Aluminum with a steel hub bolted on means the dissimilar metals corroded badly and it's going to be a SOB of a job getting those hubs out. You can't just fire up the torches and get the knuckle red hot, what a stupid idea using aluminum. I beat on one for a half hour and it didn't budge, so I soaked the both the hubs with more penetrating oil and got ready to leave it overnight in hopes the oil will wick in and help. I was putting jack stands under the thing for the night when one of them slipped and dropped on my thumb SOB!!!!!! Then that a long awaited first good day in the shop turn south and it all came back to me, why am I out here saving him money (again) and beating on my tired body?

    kiba, Been thinking more about how to help you with the painting, wish you were closer I'd come over and give you a hand. Here's an idea, there some good video's on youtube, some ideas for search for terms;
    painting, cutting an edge
    painting an edge
how to cut an edge painting with a roller

Visual is a better teacher when it comes to something like this. Like I said, I learned from jumping in, determined that "I can do this", I made mistakes along the way but I figured it out, good enough to please me. :) Failures led to success, if you don't give up, and there are usually valuable lessons in those mistakes. I don't look at a fail and a loss, I look at it as a step toward success. No matter what your attempting, stick with it and you'll get there. :thumb:

Yeah, going to watch some videos & try again when I get home. Gf says it looks OK minus 2spots after it dried, if it turns out she's right, should I just sand those spots & touch up?

Btw have you guys heard of the vaporesso c-cell? It's a pod thing w/ built in TC & adjustable AFC that's designed for higher vg juices... I'm thinking of getting one to throw in my backpack/car when I forget my vape pen

Also there's this other new pod system that uses frequency vibrations rather than a heating element... One step closer to my dream of a laser powered vape pen. Only goes to 311F though, apparently.

do you have runs in those spots?
i think you are worrying for nothing! ;) you are doing the first coat which is never perfect and that's why usually 2 coats are needed! :p

    Sitting down, facing forward.
Kiba, I usually keep the roller really wet coming out of the pan. Not dripping, but obviously heavily loaded with paint and feeling a little heavy. The last thing I do is roll the end to get the mess off of there. I make the first rolls in either a "V" or "W" shape depending on whether I want to do a taller or wider area. Then roll the whole area, both in up/down and left/right strokes. That insures the paint gets spread evenly. Sometimes it takes two coats, but I can usually get away with a single coat. Paints, today, have improved quite a bit, but I still don't have any faith in the ones that contain primer, which you probably don't need anyway.
