Should I just do all metal pipes then?

I would use that flex pipe if it will would make it a lot easier to install, if the straight metal pipe is easy to install I'd go with that over the flex but really either one will work fine for you. It's just those flex style with wrinkles or groves will probably have to be cleaned out sooner then a smooth tube type, I'd let ease of installation be the deciding factor. If you decide to go with the straight section pipe, I like to wrap the joints with the metal foil duct tape, keeps the fine lint from blowing out into the room, personal preference.

I on the other hand use 316L single wire coils in TC with multiple dna 200/75 mods that are completely stable.

Individual results vary quite a bit. We were more specifically talking about "Claptons", but I have read many posts like yours were people are doing great in TC on DNA's with SS316.
My theory is there are many different manufactures of SS 316 wire, some better than others?
If I can ask? what brand of SS316 do you use? Temco?

Here's a question for you avid dna TC'ers: Why would you not lock your res?
Because there is no need too. As long as the mod remembers what the cold resistance is, locking it will only do the same thing. Although the DNA200 wasn't designed for removable batteries. In this case, I have found that locking the resistance keeps the DNA200 from forgetting what the cold resistance was when you swap batteries.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I have to admit that I went to that Xfinity Store with a lot of doubts in my mind. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. As I walked toward the place I made my mind up to remain pleasant and "under control" while in there no matter what happened.

A "greeter" met me at the door, took the box, power supply and remote, then ushered me to a counter, not behind bullet proof glass like they used to be. They scanned the serial number of the box and while the guy did the computer thing, someone else took the box in the back and came out with a whole, new, setup. The whole process only took about five minutes and they threw in a spare set of batteries, Duracells, as well.

The remote is a different model so I had to do a little "exploring" to get it all set up, but everything works fine. Next time something craps out I'll just run over to the store, faster and easier than dealing with online support even counting the drive time and traffic around a big mall.

I lock mine in :) Why wouldn't you? I measure my resistance when installing a new coil & lock it in :) If some thing goes wrong with the Coil/Resistance, you will know! the vape will change noticeably :)

Some coils, especially claptons, will change resistance on me, on those locking resistance is very beneficial. I usually leave regular coil builds unlocked unless I experience problems, then I will lock them in a heartbeat.

On dna 75's and 200's I always lock res.

Reason 1: Ensures the mod never looses track of original cold res (indoors or out)
Reason 2: If for any reason the res changes I get an alert. That includes screwing on another atty with a different wire type without first changing to the correct profile.

Leaving the res unlocked works too but if I leave the mod/atty in a different (colder) temperature environment long enough the mod will refine to a lower res. It won't do that with res locked that I can remember. I very very rarely get the new coil/old coil message and when I do it's an atty/build problem that causes it. Sometimes too much juice leaked into the 510.

Caveat:
430 SS and NiFe52 alloy are wire types that I get the most new/old coil messages with because they increase in res over time. By over time I mean after repeated dryburns. Their saving grace is that along with Ti they are in my "Top 3 most accurate TC wires" due to their high res and tcr values.

New Vapecige VTBox 250c dual 18650 Preorder $121 @ 3a
√ Vapecige VTBox DNA250C 200W TC Box Mod (Dual 18650)

I'm a little disappointed with the battery choice :( The box isn't that small for dual 18650 :(
Lots of wasted space top & bottom, pretty plain square Box :( Priced in the same neighbourhood as the LostVape & ThinkVape :(
Looks like most everyone making new 250c chip mods choose 18650's :(
Even the coming soon Rebel 250c is dual 18650 :(
No one went with a lipo, maybe shipping hassles with fixed battery?
The Boxer is the only 2x700 choice (dual & triple) for new 250c chip mod, So Far!

From what I'm seeing the DIY mod building community is going with "Bigger Lipo's"
& all the China manufactures are going the opposite route :(

Only store bought 250c that's on my wish list is the Dual 2x700 Boxer, if it ever comes in stock :(
