Well it took more than it's worth to locate my Subtank but I finally found it.....along with a lot of other things that I've not seen for awhile.
I understand, I have been cleaning and clearing out old vape gear that I know I will never use. I "PIFd" most of it, in hopes that it will be of use to someone else.

Very cool, it just might save some lives. :thumb: I'll have to dig through what I have and donate it too, at one time I saw a thread where a member was collecting unused gear to donate to folks looking to kick the cigs, anyone know it someone is still doing that? :)

Mizer v1 up and running. My build: dual coils consisting of 5.5 wraps of CW 25 gauge SS430 on a 2.7 mm shaft. Working really well.

Pretty close to my builds on those mizers, I use five spaced wraps of ni200 on a 3mm bit stuffed tight with Sally's rayon, tails trimmed down to 25%, cut at the top, very happy with it, chucks clouds, great flavor running around 425F in TC on DNA's.

Forgive me for my ignorance, what's CW stand for?

Sitting down, facing forward.
I tried Crazy Wire SS430 and it seems to be more of a mystery metal than SS430 that conforms to any TCR curve I've found. Now I use it for baling wire. I did get it to work, acceptably, using a custom value but don't remember what that value was. Unkamen works really well with the stock curve from Evolv, though.

I use 5 to 7 spaced wraps of Ti or SS430 on a 3.3mm form in my Mizers, V1 or V2. Wicked with Graham CelluCotton, AKA Sally's. Nickle is reserved for my original DNA40 side-be-side.

Will someone offer some enlightenment here please :)

ecig stats on my pc

ecig stats is installed along with Escribe. If you configure it and decide to share the data it reports things like total number of puffs, number of puffs in TC mode and a bunch of other raw stats to Evolv for each mod you plug into Escribe. To my knowledge, no personal data is tracked just the details of how the mods are being used.

Actually Unkamen's SS430 is the odd SS430 as far as the standards go for SS430, nickle free is why.I think if vaper's started out using the CW wire early on and the TCR was determined and published the same would be said about Unkamen's not being SS430.
I tried to get Steamengine to test it way back but it didn't happen.

I don't think you're the only one, Willie. I've been fighting with an SS430 build in an Aromamizer on a 250C. Finally gave up and switched to watts mode, let everything cool to room temperature, fired with no atomizer, screwed in the Aromamizer, answered "yes" to new coil, locked ohms, found a nice vape level and started replay. So far it's been working perfectly but I do wonder what the heck is giving it fits in TC mode.

I'm a little OCD with my mods to begin with. Every time I fill a tank I wipe the whole mod down with 91% IPA and pay special attention to the 510. I rarely see anything on the paper towel after cleaning the 510, but once in a while there's some black oxidation and it seems limited to the very bottom of the thread area. Then, I wipe the atty down the same way, just to be sure everything is as clean as I can get it.
Did you try locking it at a higher resistance? That's what I have to do with all ss430 claptons, claptons in general for that matter.
