Its not on the coast, they are the only ones being told to get out.
High ground and away from the coast should be OK. Winds will calm to reasonable levels quickly once it gets over land, but the amount of rain may still be epic.

Mike, I really hope everything goes well in spite of the weather and the weather dramatists. You more than deserve a nice wedding!

We did get a call explaining the power outage the other day. PSE&G says it was caused by and "animal". Exactly what type of animal wasn't specified, and maybe they couldn't really tell, but it must have been fairly large to cause a fuse to blow. Right now the local news is reporting a power outage in "center city" Philadelphia. Should make an interesting rush hour in the city.

Well, it's being downgraded, at least in terms of wind speed which is a good thing, but it'll still hang around for a while dumping rain.

I had an early, 8:30AM, appointment a little north of Trenton this morning. To get there I had to use a fair stretch of 295. It's been years, like over 10, since I've driven that highway at commute time and am I glad it's been years. What a mess. Normal speed is 70-75MPH on it, this morning I was lucky to make 40MPH until I got past US1, then it went to 80-85MPH. Insanity reigns on the highways, too.
