You'd have to beat the posties with a stick to get them to work Saturday down here...
Totally Agree! OT for union workers isn't cheep!
But the parcels are delivered by non union contractors here, probably only making minimum wage?

I remember the postal strikes while growing up in Toronto, they always had a call for workers to cross the picket lines. I had a few friends that got on the buses with the blacked out windows and made some decent coin scabbing. Not for me though, I always pictured something out of Mad Max happening to the bus that I would have been on.

Tis the season, UPS and FedEx puts on extra drivers around here, people that don't normally do the job. This is the time of year the neighbors and I get each others packages. I also read Amazon is starting to use their own delivery system, I did see an unmarked white van stop twice at my daughter's house next door last week, when I asked her about it she said they were both Amazon orders. Deal between USPS and Amazon set to expire in October | PostalReporter.com

Yeah, Amazon is branching out into the package delivery area, too. Unfortunately it seems to take time to be able do that reliably and trying it during the Holiday Season is a really dumb move IMHO. I've had them making U turns in my lawn a few times already and "two day Prime" is turning into about a week "Prime". Bezos recently said "Amazon will fail, eventually" to his employees. I think he might be right on the money and we're seeing the first signs of it already.

A lot better :)
Didn't the 250 come out before the 60? I'm not sure but I thought it did?

250 first by a month.

DNA250 production ramped up in 09/2016
DNA60 LARGE screens started selling in 10/2016
DNA60 SMALL screens became available in 05/2017

Incidentally, the DNA60 started out as a DNA50, I have one of the beta 50s.

BTW, I have DNA200 Invoices dated 05/2015

I'm not all that concerned with the "when", but it is interesting to see the EVOLVolution. I just very happy that I've had the opportunity to buy and use most of them since the 25. TC has been a complete game changer for me.

Agreed, I missed out on the Darwin, but jumped in at DNA20 and Kick stage, Got at least one mod with every board since.

Does E-Scribe show it as a DNA50?
Could be a collectors item? I would hang on to that one :)
Escribe wont even talk to it, they changed the specs to 60W before updating Escribe.

Its the purple one in the pic below, and it does say DNA50 on boot.
The gold one toe left of it is a beta DNA40 #10
The black BAP in the foreground is a DNA60 small screen.
Three of the larger aluminum ones are our own ECF co-op ERM+
The three smaller aluminum ones are 200/250 Evolv betas.
The green one is a 5000mah DNA75 beta board in a BAP enclosure.
The white penguin was just a throw away yardwork mod.

Say mikepetro, I heard Brandon say in "Haze Hour 04-12-14 by VapourTrailsTV (with Brandon)" Youtube video that Evolv believed they fixed the DNA40 original screen lock up twice before, but found something else on the third try (three time's a charm) they thought they really had it fixed this time. But I never heard anything more about the screen lockup problem. I have 3 DNA40 small screen mods and 2 DNA40 large screen mods and I have never seen it here.

There is mention of a DNA40-V5 too in varies places including Wikipedia, which talks about a new Atty Lock Mode. All 3 of my DNA40 small screen mods (HCigar HB40 and Railbox) has this Atty Lock Mode feature (some large screen versions has this too). So was there anything noteworthy to mention about other DNA40 versions?

I also heard or read only from one source (which I don't recall now - probably still in my web history though) that there was one DNA40 version that will let you select material type. Do you know anything about this one? Or since it was only one source, maybe they confused this with a later DNA board. Like does a DNA25 allow for this?

I just noticed on these HCigar HB40s, the glue must have dried out and the magnets isn't glued into the covers anymore. The covers (and box) seems like they are made of some sort of heavy zinc alloy. So what is the best glue to reglue them back in, like superglue perhaps? Btw, they are long rectangle magnets.
Thanks to cigatron, SlickWilly, dwcraig1, and awsum140 about the advice about gluing magnets (hopefully I didn't forget anybody). Unfortunately I started before all of the help. But now I know next time. I used superglue twice and failed. I only let it set for an hour or two. I tried again a third time (three time's a charm) and let it set for 10 hours and all of the magnets held this time.

Although after having one set on my desk for a few hours, I heard a solid click from one of them. I thought oh no, a magnet released. I checked and sure enough a magnetic let go. But wait, that isn't one I glued! It was one on the other side that released. Glued that one with superglue and let it cure for 10 hours. That was over 12 hours ago and everything is holding for now. But if it happens again, I know what to do thanks to you guys. ;)
