Steamer, you're missing the obvious. America was the "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave". Now it's the "Land of the Progressives, Home of the Politically Correct".

Well maybe it's time to oil up all them Guns! & put them to good use.

I have 90 days warning, I am thankful for that. After 90 days I wont care what the hell they do, I will be self-sufficient!

I just feel bad for all the smokers out there losing this option. For them I will continue to fight. For me, it wont matter.

It probably don't matter to most of Us who have seen this coming :( I for one have plenty of gear & will Never! Smoke Again!
It is very sad that the FDA protects BT market Share. It's blatantly obvious any kind of competition BT faces is shut down by the FDA. Even with the collateral damage being your health & well being :(
It seems corruption from Big Money has become the norm in the US, even worse it's becoming more & more expected & accepted :(

Just a reminder of how BT got such a good grip on the US, the Revolutionary war was funded almost entirely by tobacco. I can certainly imagine most of those signatures on the Declaration of Independence all owned tobacco plantations.
This isn't meant to sound pro BT, hope it didn't come off that way.
I don't like my stuff grouped with tobacco, why couldn't they identify with tomatoes instead?

For a few years there it looked like it was going to but now......doomsville

What ever happened to "Give the people what they want" BT should see this as an opportunity, they could corner the E-cig market & have a healthier customer base at the ready to continue to support their deep pockets. With all their "influence" they could Tax the hell out of Chinese competion & turn this into a budding home grown industry. Selling mods atty's & juice to every one.

Even the "tobacco kills" argument has some holes in it. Prior to tobacco being "enhanced" by BT, tobacco use/smoking didn't seem to have the same, deleterious, effects that cigarettes produce today. Just speculative, but it sure looks that way to me, anyway.

From a PM:
On a side note, do you expect the pending regs to limit flavor concentrates? I'm stocking on nic this week.

No, only the concentrates "specifically marketed" for vaping. Most of the flavors are actually artificial food flavors anyway, and they will still be sold. Now if your favorite flavor is some "vape" labeled line (like VZ) then you might want to stock up. But like LorAnn is just a food flavoring, and many people use it in ejuice. Just make sure to get the water-soluble flavors and not the oil based. Search the DIY forums, there are many other brands. As long as it is used for the food industry the FDA wont be able to stop it.

With out a doubt! they need you to keep coming Back! Personal experience in 1986 I quit smoking, just gave it up cold turkey :) Stupid me in 1996 started again :) From the very first smoke back, it seemed like I was hooked again. For some unexplained reason it was really hard to quit the second time! I wanted to, & tried many times, just seemed imposable! Until vaping came into my life :)
I'm all most positive some thing in cigarette changed in the 10 years I had quit.
Some thing that made it harder to Quit!

The last report I read about nicotine being addictive put it on the same level as caffeine. I wonder if that means, in the future, caffeine will become similarly regulated and prohibited? s long as they're on a "ban nicotine" kick, maybe they should include broccoli, that has a fairly high level of nicotine in it as do many other veggies.

I buy 100 mg usually, cut it to 50 for use, even 100 scares me. Any higher one need s special gear...IMO
I certainly advise anyone dealing with anything stronger than 100mgl to wear the appropriate PPE and educate themselves in basic lab protocol. Also obtaining a nicotine test kit to validate their results is a must.
