Fyi, I contacted modcrate and they verified (instantly) the $28 enclosure does NOT come with the 510, it's $8 extra. (super fast response)

Yeah, they changed that after I placed my order and was worried if I would get them. Even at $36, it's still cheaper than any other case, including 3d printed ones, and a great deal for the case and 510. I would still highly recommend it.

After building the first one and seeing how easy it was, I decided to just build the other 2 and replace the case screws when they come in. As with all new mods, I've been vaping on these 3 for the last 2 days and I really like them. The DNA75 vapes just like the DNA200 and since I set them at 25w and 50w preheat, the batteries last a long time and I haven't noticed any voltage sag. I decided to take the first one apart and file the corners on the fire button because it had just a bit more friction than I liked and I could notice it in use. After filing the corners, they all work great. You can't see the filed edges once they're in place so the overall fit and finish of the mod is perfect. I'm still thinking about drilling a hole for the LED and putting a clear plastic tip in it for a fiber optic effect.

I should have ordered a couple of those $28 silo blems, while they were shipping with the 510...now the 510 is extra, and I won't order. You snooze you looze.

On the other hand, I did order a K5 from Focal earlier - it says restocking? so I guess we'll see how long it take to come in. I'm guesstimating 3 weeks?

I ordered the sxk from focal, and the 5% coupon (fcvapingcheap) didn't work? It did when I ordered my squape x from them a couple weeks ago? It only saves about $1.30'ish but whatever. The map code at fasttech was a better deal, I didn't remember that or I would have ordered there...but no biggie, just a couple of bucks I suppose.

The 15th? I thought they were in stock on the 5th? And now out of stock... The 15th makes more sense. Good to know. Thanks for that. Now I don't feel bad for not ordering sooner.

I'd be curious to see if the FT model has logos. I'm guessing NO. Doris told me the focal one does have the logos. I guess we'll see.

Recoil the squape x dream today. Had an issue with the previous build. Did the same one again, SS316 28g 2.4mm dual parallels 6 wraps each (12 wires each coil).

Working on this dual post 2 hole deck really makes a person appreciate the velocity 4 hole deck. Let me tell you.

Rayon wick. Pushed up against the juice holes. Not usually a fan of rayon, but seems to be working fine.

You know fellas, it occurs to me we will have ourselves a decent range of comparison when all these kayfun 5 arrive. Between @KTMRider @dwcraig1 @Steamer861 and myself, and others of course, there will be 2 manufactures, 3 sellers, and we'll see if FT does in fact de-logo their tanks (which I think they do on some brands, like svoemesto).

I'll be sure to snap some pics when mine gets here, hope you guys do the same. Cool retail experiment. [emoji16] [emoji3]

That's a piece of art Mike, look's like it would fit the hand nicely, love burl. I'd be afraid to use it much, I'm not real gentle with mods.

Well these izer's aren't doing me any good setting in the boxes. What wire do you guys use for clapton in tc mode and what coil size and # of wraps? Looking to keep the ohms as low as I can. A buddy gave me some UD Ni80 + A1, 26-32 but he's a mech guy, going to try it but I want to stay with tc.

So it arrived, took me a bit to get it set up (sorry Daniel). Using HE4's while the HD2's charge (might not even use them with this).
For starters the mod's not stainless steel only looks like it.
Battery sag with the HE4's @ 40 watts/ 50 watts preheat on full charge was 3.56, not too bad.
Except for the horned top it's smaller than a ERM, really strong spring in the 510. I wish the 510's body was higher than the mods top by a hair but oh well.
Really liking it so far, I can't believe how small it is.

Mike I read some were that hot humid air like you have down there in the states can adversely affect fancy wood mods! I think that mod would be happier & healthier in a cooler climate, Say like Canada?
