Just got my Mini Volt. First non-Evolv mod in over 2 yrs. It's much smaller than I thought.

I've seen these in person, I really liked the nugget but only because it did TC. But the whole concept behind these is stealth vaping, in my mind anyway.

They are itsy bitsy, that's for sure.

Thanks again Tpat591 U-Da-Man :)
Your Welcome Steamer. Never would have believed it would take so long to get to you! Your gonna have to give your mail lady a bigger tip next time.

I resisted the temptation,.... for a while anyway. But broke down after I found the 10% off code.

Picked up 2 and got the free shipping. I mean what the heck a DNA 200 board and a battery for under $50 bucks each. Boards alone were costing that much! I didn't think I would like it for a mod, but at least I would have boards and batteries. After using them, I wish I would have grabbed 2 more.

Subtotal

$110.00
Shipping & Handling $0.00
Discount -$11.00
Grand Total $99.00

So there's somebody here besides me than even knows what usenet is?
Here's the NZB idex site that I use now: - NewzTown - The Best South African Usenet Indexer
Been using Usegroups since before the WWW even existed.

Yeah, NZBs made thing a lot easier. oznzb.com is my current index site.

Used to use Forte Agent back in the day, now I use NewsLeecher which has its own built in index search engine.

I love mine, I just wish the damn thing wouldn't keep turning itself off!
I saw that in some reviews and it was one of the major considerations when ordering one. I built a 1.8Ω coil in a KM3 clone and it's not bad at 12w. I might have to do one less wrap or a smaller ID coil because I was shooting for 1.5Ω but I haven't used kanthal in a long time

I used to use usenet. Had the unlimited plans, Alt.binz, speed was unmatched. Retention was excellent, then suddenly nothing worked anymore.

Nothing was ever complete anymore. The work around that I remember was to have a main server and a backup server in an attempt to complete articles.

Now, you guys want to walk down memory lane!? Well let's see who remembers or even knows what this is... Back before I had a adsl (not dsl) dedicated "high speed" connection (this was before dsl, cable, etc) I had an adsl subscriber line (very expensive)... And before that I had HUGHES NET which was satellite Internet down link and phone modem (us robotics :D) up link. And they (Hughes net) had a usenet downloader where you set up a dedicated pc with the isa card installed, selected the groups you wanted, and it would cache as much as possible locally during the day (headers) so you could use less bandwidth during peak hours.

Yep... I know newsgroups. (but afaik they don't work anymore)

Well that's what I had been thinking till I switched from Astraweb to Supernews. I used Astraweb for about 10 years and they were great in the beginning but in the end too many incompletes. I don't think I've had even 1 block missing since I switched. I'm paying $10 mo. unlimited with Supernews.
