Not as cheap as the other deal but, :(

I found a place that has the DX200 listed @ $80 and that includes:

This Kit contains the dna 200 device, the Battery pack, and the charger.

Free shipping or you can up it to first class for $3.65 more.

I sent them an email asking if it is the V1 or V2 model as the ad shows both!

Will respond back once I get the info. :pop:

Yeah a tad more but still a great deal, may be seeing more deals on the dx's as hotcig has moved to new mods. I didn't see dx's on their website, they may have stopped making them. Now I see a dr mod with the dna 200 board. Shenzhen Hot Technology Co., Ltd.

Not too bad of a deal though at $80. If, you had to pay shipping on the other deal and bought a charger separately that could almost add up to the $80 price.

I think you are right about the deals to come because it is a discontinued model. But what price would you set as a bottom dollar buy limit?

I waited so long to commit on the other deal I was surprised that they were still in stock!

Yeah, roll the dice waiting to save $20 and you might loose altogether, $80 is still a great deal.

I won't be about until the 18th, off to the Welsh mountains with Mrs Bad and the mutt and 99% sure there will be no mobile signal most of the time, but I don't really do www on the phone anyway. Be good, or be good at it.

Sounds like a nice trip you have planned! Would love to see pics of the mountains if you have any when you get back. Laughed like hell at the parting line!

ETA: Forgot to say, have fun! :)

Just happen to think about this while swapping out a battery on a dx, something I was going to mention in that long post with the pics of the hotcig taken apart. Those two battery posts that stick out from the mod half, they have two cuts down most of the length leaving four sections on the post. Check them every time you remove a battery and make sure they haven't collapsed, that's why it warns in the instructions to pull and push the pack on straight. One side can be tight and the other loose and still make it feel like the pack takes force to slide on leaving a loose fitting connection. I found the blade of a cheap little break away razor knife like the pic below should slip right in the slots with a little wiggle room, if the blade goes in tight just use it to tweak them just a tad. Don't over do it or you'll work harden them to the point a section of the post could break off, a slight gentle spread is all you need. Look at the gaps on the end of the post and you can tell if the gaps are too big or small.

The new DR200 has a different connector, could be this has been a problem and why hotcig changed to the DR. Good pic of the connector here Hotcig Lastest Dna 200w Box Mod Dr200 Photo, Detailed about Hotcig Lastest Dna 200w Box Mod Dr200 Picture on Alibaba.com.

Just to follow up here, I think I said I would?

I got my sxk k5 on Sat, built it Sunday. Seems like a good quality atty but the draw is too tight for me - same as the tobeco. That's just personal preference though.

All in all, the clone seems well made, the kayfun 5 is just not for me. Kind of like the kayfun 4 was not for me. And if I'm being honest, I liked the cosmetic appearance of the kayfun 4 better than the k5 which looks like just about every other atty on the market. But the k4 was a PITA! At least for me. Turn this, lock that, screw here, tighten there, loosen this... Yikes. The k5 is simple and to the point. And so far all the clones seem to be of acceptable quality.

If anybody cares...

Next!

I guess everyone has their own preference :) For me the K-F V5 has quickly moved up close to the top my list of favourite Atty's :) The draw is tighter than say a mizer But way looser than the V4.
I have to agree on the quality, the build quality of my 2 clones is real good also.
It's hard for me to understand how people would pay close to 200 for an authentic, when the clones are so good & only about 15% of the price.
Can I ask were you got the Tobeco clone? I wanted to try one on the reputation of their V4 clone.
They still don't seem to be available main stream :(
