Question for stainless users...

Ive had this problem is forever with stainless.. The first couple of minutes on a newly wrapped coil (316L) Vapes hotter, then after I let it sit (after I've been vaped it) the vape cools down tremendously.

The first few pulls I usually lower to 400f and it Vapes like it's at 500f or hotter, then after it settles I have to up the temp to 480f to 500f to get it back to what I consider acceptable.

I'm running sp3 now, but it's done that since I first got the ss316.... Not sure if it's my wire or my build? But I know it's not my imagination.

Easy answer...316 sucks. 430 for the win.

The difference between a Man and a Boy..........

I'm not into drones, but here is a schematic of my fish tank. It rivals+ in terms of investment.

It is more complicated in person, and I have built similar systems. He left out the schematic of the fembot maintenance crew.

On the 316L, I never see a resistance change from before and after... Reads the same (on the screen, never checked device monitor).

Just hits Insanely hot in the beginning then after it settles/refines down it Vapes differently. Not sure which way is "normal".

I've tried a couple different profiles (tcr)... After the initial burst, the temp is stable afterwards for the remaining life of the coil (I think anyway). Just the first initial vape is way hotter than it should be?

This happens to me on multiple attys, multiple mods, same results.

It seems like I'm not the only one though so that makes me feel better... I know it's an issue, not just me.

Are you using V 1.2 SP3, if not maybe give it a try.
My issues started with the new update. Seems more erratic with 430ss than 316ss. No issues with Ni200. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough where I get a hot/burnt vape and then goes back to normal. Maybe 1-2 times per tankful. Sometimes it doesn't happen.

430 is what I mostly use (Unkamen's), no problems on mine with SP3....so far anyways

My know issue is in the beginning of the build. It's first couple of minutes vaping a newly wrapped coil. After that initial burst, some voodoo settles it down and it seems to vape fine the rest of the time. Occasionally it does it after a refill (same coil) but not often.
